Received for review by Gearbest, available for $38.99 at Original Eleaf iStick 100W Box Mod-38.99 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com
This is for the kit version that comes with the usb cable, ego adaptor, manual and box, I noticed the silver version of the same kit is priced less at $33.79 though currently
Theres also the "simple version" in a separate listing in both colors for $32.99 at Original Eleaf iStick 100W E-Cig Box Mod ( Simple Version )-32.99 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com
The only difference I can see is theres just the mod and no usb cable or ego adaptor, possible no manual or retail box then.

Its the most powerful istick to date that takes replaceable dual 18650 batteries. Its similar in looks to the istick 50 being rounded on the sides but the buttons are different with the up and down buttons being on the side of the mod for the istick 100 rather than on the side of the mod that the istick 50 has. The usb connector is also now on the underside of the mod. The screen is similar however in interface to the previous isticks. Theres no temp control on this mod but it seems to handle kanthal pretty good. The size compared to the istick 50 is larger - its taller at around 100mm vs 83mm, wider at 54mm vs 45mm and slightly thicker at just under 26mm vs 23mm. The mod is not too heavy though at 150g without batteries. Its also quite comfortable in the hand with the rounded edges.

The internal battery area is quite tidy and looks well chosen for the 18650s, theres not a large spring though and batteries need to be installed with both poles of the battery going in fully before the other so by pushing both the top and bottom of the battery it can slide into place quite easily where as other mods you usually insert the negative end in first against the spring then push the positive into place. At first I was thinking it might be a very tight fit but it was not bad and the cover of the battery was fine where other battery bays can sometimes tear it off. Theres also a ribbon to make removing the batteries easy.

One thing to note too is the batteries are installed in parallel on this mod rather than in series with both poles facing the same direction. You can therefore run the box of just 1 battery, however it may not be safe to push the mod too high with just 1 battery and the battery life will be alot lower too. After you insert 1 battery the screen already switches on. Theres on board charging however it may be safer with parallel battery setups to charge externally. Its also best to keep the 2 batteries specific for this mod together when using them or charging to make sure they discharge at the same rate. The battery door sits flush with no big gaps and has very strong magnets. In order to lift the battery door you would need to use your nail or it may be tricky just by pushing with your finger. I was expecting the magnets to be even stronger from what I'd heard but theyre not too bad, theyll make sure the door sits tight though, but similar to the sigelei 100 magnets.

The 510 is spring loaded and made of stainless steel. The top cap looks to be made of some type of chrome plated material as well as the bottom cap. The rest of the body is some type of aluminium. The silver version has a type of power coated finish. The only issue really with the body is the buttons are quite rattly, however theres some silicone covers available that may help with this though they are not included with the mod. The fire button is quite responsive with not too much pressure needed but with a decent click to it.

This mod has both vv and vw mode so you can adjust from 5-100 watts or 2-10 volts. In order to change modes from voltage to wattage mode just click the fire button 3 times and it'll switch and show either vv or vw. If you click the + and - button together when the mod is on it will lock in the power. The screen shows the power bar, current wattage or voltage as well as the applied watts or volts depending on the mode. Also the resistance of the atty down to 2 decimal places. Theres protection in the device such as short circuit, mod overheat protection, over discharge protection. The mod when in use did not seem to get hot and theres vents on both sides of the mod potentially keeping the mod cooler and for venting.

The mod can be used with atomizers from 0.15ohms to 5ohms. At low watts and low ohms apparently the device is not as accurate but with higher watts its supposed to be accurate. It seemed accurate enough when in use though and gave a good battery life.

Altogether its a decent mod and reasonable priced with a good amount of power. Its good that you can change the batteries and even use just 1 battery if you were not using the max settings.
