Thanks for the video. :)

What I especially learned from that video is, that you NEED a screw in voltmeter.

These voltmeter you can get in quite some modshops in the USA - but you don't get them in Germany nor in the usually webshops in UK. Rob, can you take them in your webshop, so that we can do shopping at one place? And what about some atomizer for HV?

You don't need screw-in voltmeters nor HV attys. Just use a 2.5 ohm atty, start with the voltage turned all the way down, and vape it. Then adjust the voltage higher until you're happy with the heat, vapor, and flavor.

A 2.5 ohm atty on a VV Reo will let you vape from 4 watts up to 12 watts.

Can someone tell me when these are planned to be released? I'm looking for a VV bottom feeder and this is the only one I have found!

I will be a few weeks at best. I am sure Rob will chime in here and give an update soon.

I know he has been cutting the bodys out over the past week or so. Next will be shaping the body's and then finish and finely installing the feed system, VV chip and button. This all takes time. Last I heard he will be putting out around 100 or so on the first run.

Will all the vv mods be wood or will there be some available in an aluminum finish?

The first batch will be Wood while Rob gets the prints strait and to the machine shop to have them milled. There will be VV Grands (Aluminum) up after the VV Woodvils. Hope that helps :)

I'm curious are the woodvils as sturdy as the grands(never owned a woodvil) My grand has hit the pavement multiple times and it vapes like a champ is it the same with a woodvil?

Well the Alumanum will always be stronger then the Wood mods.

But I have had and do have a lot of the Wood REO's and have never had an issue with durability.

The Original WoodREO was made with the working man in mind durable solid one peace construction and easy to use.

the New Woodvils are much the same but a bit more refined IMO. Rounded corners and a bit thinker is spots but he kept the durability with using a one peace method as to not weekend the integrity of the wood. (No glue joints to fail)

UPDATE on my Battery test and Juice consumption.

Black AW ICR123 protected battery: I got about 4ml of juice from one full charge

Powererizer RCR 123A (Recommended by Notcig's maker of the chip) I got about 4ML of juice on one charge.

I will test more latter on this week. I have gone back to using a set of 18350's and I do think this will be my battery of choice in the VV Woodvil.

Update:

Been using the VV Woodvil now for just over a week and love it.

I have found that I will be using the IMR 18350's where I get the best run time for the batterys.

Still using the 2.5ohm 306 Cisco I started with and have found that the 2.5 attys or 2.2 attys give me the best range for voltage change up. Allowing me to move up and down at will and get good resulrts.

Here are the safety features that are built in to the chip. I saw a post my Mike (Notcigs today)

1. Over Current protection ( this prevents the batteries from discharging to fast and causing an un safe condition )

2. Over temp. protection ( this prevents the controller from going into an unsafe operating area )

3. Reverse battery protection ( so you cannot ruin your device bu putting the batts in backwards )

4. Short circuit protection ( in case your atomizer/carto shorts out the device SHUTS itself DOWN )

5. On/Off switch , so you can disconnect the batteries from the circuit. (REO)

Hear is the link to the thread regarding the built in safety's on the chip being used in the REO VV mods and the Buzz Pro mods by Notcigs.
