Revolution V2.1 help

I didnt see anything under "model specific" so I thought I would post here.

I just received a V2.1 in the mail this afternoon. With the bottle out of the unit, it put out pretty good vape. With the bottle installed (empty or full) I get absolutely nothing. You can hear minor crackles but no vape what so ever. I've contacted the vendor so we will see tomorrow.

Am I missing something here? User error or bad unit? I've tried 3 cartomizers all with the same results.

Did you give the juice bottle a little squeeze to get juice into carto? It is explained in the video at about the 5:58 mark onward how to do it properly.

Thanks for the link. Its not a matter of working the juice feed, I think that the needle itself is causing a problem. If I load up a cartomizer with juice and hit it (with the bottle out) it is fine. If I insert the bottle I get nothing. At first I thought there was a slim chance that it could be do to the fact that I was using an empty bottle so I filled it up but had the same result...no vapor.

I've determined it's not a connection issue as the cartomizer is firing.
It is a draw issue. With the bottle in place, I need to suck really really hard to get anything.
Picture trying to drink a really thick milkshake threw a straw.

Has anyone else had this issue? It seems like the make up air is coming through the needle hole when the bottle is out- rather through the vent holes in the 510 connection. When the bottle in in place there is just no was to get air to pass through.

No, I didn't have that problem. But I filled the cartomizer myself before placing it on the battery. Did you try doing that and see if it's working?

I had that air thing the first couple times I squeezed it to refill but it seemed to go away. I hold it almost upside down when I squeeze it. I saw him do that in the video and that seemed to help.

It could be the cartomizers. I didn't use the cartomizers that came with the kit. I used the ones I had- the 1.7's from CCV. Not that it should make a difference.

I filled the cartomizer before putting it on the unit.
Actually I tried 3 cartomizers. One that came with the kit, 1 Smoketech 2.0 and one Boge LR. All of the catomizers hit fine on my other units (ego batts and GLV2). It also hit fine with teh bottle out of the Revolution v2.1. As soon as I put the bottle in the unit, it seems that I have a really really hard draw. You can hear the popping/sizzling of the cartomizer and if you suck really hard (just about until your eyes suck in) then it will vape. Otherwise you get nothing.

I think it may be a problem with this particular unit. Hopefully the vendor will get back to me tomorrow and we can get this fixed. I see mixed reviews on the unit so I don't know if I even want to bother trying another. The concept is great and the price is right...who knows maybe I'll try a replacement.
