There have been variations since the first one, but the ones I use are 1400 mAh. The batt last all day, and LR works well on them.

Now that is more my language. I'll have to look into it, after hearing all of the complaints of "Missy's WetBox" a while back I am generally skeptical of bottom fed devices that aren't the Reo, Ali'i or MonkeyBox.

check out the other thread, this is discussed at length. There is a newer version now, that has a flashlight/torch bulb in the end, instead of the (useless) disco lights. That is a good idea, but they have lowered the batt capacity to 800 mAh now. Still OK, but LR hits the batts harder, I would rather have the 1400 mAh version.

Still, it is a fixed 3.7-ish volt device, it's plastic. I use a lanyard on mine constantly, it is my 'outdoor device'. One tip I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere much, is that filling it only half-way up is good, if you want to lay it on it's side. Fill it full, it could leak. No defect, it's just gravity. That's still 5 ml of juice, I think.

USD $40-$50 ? All-day batt? 10 ml of juice? Internal storage space for a spare carto? No disassembly needed to recharge? Built-in passthrouth? Get one for a backup, if nothing else. Most of us have spent more at some point, and gotten less.

Well 1400 mah is perfect for what I need, can support LR and is a full 1000 mah more than what the first release toted so I am impressed by these specs. Sorry for my first post as I was unaware that the product had been upgraded, mostly due to reading the original releases batt life and saying "Psh, I think I'll pass until they make it a bit better". It appears as though they have now, so I will give it the good old college try since I am using cartos more.
