Rewicked my nova have ?s

So I got some 500 mesh and 32 kanthal and went to town on a vivi head. So far it seems pretty good. This is my first rebuild ever!

When I was working on the coil to get rid of hot spots and such I notice that the line coming up glows red till it gets to the coil and I can't figure out how to get it not too?!? Is this a problem? There any easy fix? Please help!!

Use some non-resistance wire to lead up from the contact areas to the coil. Just twist the ends of the kantal to two pieces of NR wire and use that as the leads.
