Hey guys,

I have just rewicked an OCC coil for the first time (followed this video http://youtu.be/WMUOtwsd7_E).

I thought it turned out pretty well, kept the coil neat & even. The wick seems to wick well. But the vapor produced is quite warm, maybe even twice as warm as the vapor from the supplied coil.

Just wondering if anyone has ever had the same experience, or if anyone knows a possible solution to get a slightly cooler vape. Seems to me the only variable in such a task would be the amount of cotton used, would you guys suggest more or less?

Kanger Subtank Mini
Rewicked OCC Coil (cotton ball - waiting on the good stuff in the mail)
GWAR Bloodlust juice 50/50
Ego One battery

Thanks for any help.

Ps, I also wanted to add, I'm getting a bit of juice spitting into my mouth on the rewicked coil. Any ideas on how to prevent that in the future?

could be to much cotton. for the warmth. is it the .5 ohm or the 1.2 ohm? are you using a regulated mod? whats the led say the resistance is.

also the juice into mouth. idk. i get it on and off with new. used. and reused cotton coils. i think its normal in my book. i found turning my power up vaporized it quicker so i didnt get it. but sometimes when my mouth is muted from over vaping i like the little splash here and there...
