Ridiculous Rigs ... what's yours?

Hey fellow vapers ... Smato here. Santa brought me all kinds of new goodies and I was sitting and admiring them. Deciding what OCC coils to pop in or what coils to build on my various tanks, the various taste tests of the same juice in each of them, perhaps building the same type (awg, ohm, # of wraps, etc.) of coil to see how it might perform in each of my tanks. While musing on all of this, I found I was fiddling with my hoard of vaper-phernalia, trying different tanks on different mods and ended up holding these two hilariously stoopid rigs in my hand.

Whats your most ridiculous, usable or not, combination of equipment?!?!
  • On the left is my Wismec Reuleau RX200w with a Nautilus Mini. This one is usable and at 11w, I would imaging the battery life to be something on the order of a several weeks to a month between recharges.
  • On the right is my eGo-T sporting a Steam Crave Aromamizer RDTA. Obviously unusable. This one tickled my funny bone the hardest though.

The following post is not directed at anyone in particular. Just for general/n00b help & FYI.

Please KNOW the limitations of the batteries you are using and NEVER fire a coil-build that the battery is NOT CAPABLE of handling. Firing such a build (sub-ohm, or low-ohm, for example) can/WILL result in what we vapers refer-to as Catasrophic Thermal Runaway, meaning, your battery can & WILL explode. I have been here on ECF & on the Web for 7 years, as a vaper, and I have seen walls blackened from a battery that exploded on it's charger, after the battery's owner had used it improperly in his mod. I have seen serious burns to walls, black with soot. I have seen holes burnt in the pockets of pants from a mod misfiring while put-away in owners pants. & most-disturbingly, I have seen dental-damage, and serious lip & facial injuries due-to Thermal Runaway.

I have personally seen the aftermath of an EGO-sized battery that experienced Thermal Runaway Venting. Yes, EGO batteries have protection circuits, but they DO NOT last forever. The circuit CAN or will burn out after 1 short, and, with the next short, the battery can &/or WILL explode. So please-please-please DO-NOT put a sub-ohm tank, or a sub-ohm build, on-top of an EGO battery, or a non-IMR/High-Drain battery. It CAN knock your front teeth out, and it HAS seriously CHOKED individuals, from the drip-tip rocketing down the mod-owner's throat.

PLEASE exercise safety & NEVER fire a sub-ohm build on an EGO or on ANY mod w/ a battery that cannot handle sub-ohm or low-ohm builds. For Instance- The Average EGO should NEVER have a coil fired on it under 1.5 ohm, although, Egos are officially rated for only 1.8 to 2+ ohm builds. (I am speaking of the average EGO battery. The NEW sub-ohm capable ego-sized batteries may be-able to handle builds lower & nearing sub-ohm) Please ONLY use SAFE chemistry IMR High-Drain batteries for your sub/low-ohm builds!!

Thank you.
