Just got a authentic Rig v2 and was using for about 8 hours with no issues at all then all of a sudden hot button central. I know a review or two stated it happens once every 200 pulls or so then to spin the button and it would fix it but that's not working. Sometimes it stops for a pull then it heats right up again. I have a .15 build that's been on it all day and it's been on other mechs with no issues. If anyone has any tips that would be awesome because I like this mech. Thanks for the help.

I'm gonna answer my own question lol. The person I bought it from did not have the tool from VAMP to take the switch out so he couldn't clean it in the month he owned it and I think that was the problem. I got a pair of long very pointy tweezers I use for my coils and it worked perfectly to get the switch assembly out. I only cleaned it with a light wire brush and a paper towel and there were some dirty spots. It seems to hit much better and no more hot button. I don't know how long it will last but I clean my other mechs once a week so it will go into rotation.

Well it's back to have same problems. It will work for a few then it screws up. With the same .14 build on my subzero mod I get no problems at all. Any ideas why the rig v2 would work fine all day then start giving me the hot button problem?

Check the spring and the contact threads.

With a .15 build there is no room for error. Id be cleaning that thing like it was a Kalashnikov. Robert probably nailed it, not enough contact and its adding resistance.

I'd clean it more like it was an early M16A1. A kalashnikov will fire after a neglectful drag through hell. Make sure all the surfaces are cleaned free of oxidization or carburation. The contact can be carefully and lightly sanded, but I avoid sanding the switch barrel/piston surfaces, as they should be carrying the current; if the spring is carrying current and not a collapseable hotspring, I'd think something is wrong with the switch, even though you are running a very high drain build for a single cell.
The lower the resistance of your build, the more often you are going to have to clan your contacts. A jar of everbright, cape cod polishing cloths, etc will last a long time and will keep your mech top-shape if you are building low. Most products like cape cod cloths last a long time.
