The design of this box, in my opinion, is something more sophisticated and functional than the various ijoy shogun, Drag, istick mix etc. but I will make my comparisons later, now I will only describe its shape in a classic way.
The cup is fixed with 2 classic torx screws, is located in a perfectly central position, has a gold-plated floating pin and is slightly recessed with respect to the curves that connect the upper part to the lateral sides of the mod, it can accommodate atomizers up to 26mm without diameter.
In the frontal side, perfectly integrated with the connection curve, we find a quite unusual activation button, in fact more than a button it is a plastic or abs switch, very well clickable and precise, it does not miss a beat.
The slightly recessed 0.96 display shows the graphic level of the 2 batteries, the watts, the puff time, the ohms, the Volts, numbers and letters are blue on a black background, always clearly legible.
below the display and above the USB socket there are the plus and minus keys, protruding and intuitive to find.
the bottom of the mod houses 6 vent holes for the batteries and shows the writing Mechman 228w designed by rincoe the C E mark and the disposal symbol.
The rear side has a graphic pattern made up of many V's, it almost looks like a tread pattern that helps to offer grip to the hand.
grip that this mod has really so much just for how it is shaped, with its 4 protruding connecting curves and the 4 sides that, being recessed, contribute to a truly anatomical shape.
But with the side panels we get to the top of the grip, our fingers will have the pleasure of caressing in addition to the spaces of the metal structure in zinc alloy, screwed to the frame with 4 torx screws, the many little stripes engraved over plastic material that surround the housing of the screws in the panel of the bad wolf
under this structure made of crosses and crossbars we can see the bad wolf, an image whose wrinkled consistency seems to be that of a painting and this is easily noticeable with the fingertips.
On the rear panel we find the usual superstructure and the even more numerous '' stripes '' surrounding the screws and the large central logo bearing the word rincoe in silver on a smoky background, giving the same tactile pleasure.
And this explains what I had stated at the beginning, that is that something more refined and functional than the competition, we find it here and without paying a pledge in terms of weight.
The battery compartment is equipped with a strap, houses two 18650 that enter and exit without effort, the door has two good magnets and I do not know the slightest game.
The chip is the Rincoe classic with a scale of 1 to 228w, the interesting thing is that by holding the + or - the increment or decrement is 1W at a time, while adjusting up with small touches increases the or the decrement is with decimal scale, once we find our ideal wattage we can block it by pressing together + and -
with 3 clicks we access the menu and we can vary between the options VW-TCR MODE TC-SS-TI-NI-BYPASS
It seems to me from the first summary proofs that everything works well, the push is considerable and the activation is very ready.
The protections are activated in case of inverted batteries, overheating, low voltage, short circuit and activation beyond 10s.
it is possible in VW and in Bypass to use resistances from 0,08 to 5ohm (0,3 ohm recommended)
in TC (NI / TI / SS / TCR) 0.05-3.5ohm (0.15 recommended)
At 40W the management of the batteries seems to me good and at the level of other brands.
