Hello all, been vaping for about 1.5 months using two KR808D-1's. I like them but I hate how often they have to be recharged. Ive been looking through the many types of ego-style batteries out there and am considering a riva 510 kit from liberty flights. The "Riva 510 lite kit" costs $29.99 and the "special edition kit" costs $34.39 after the 20% discount.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

I have read in various forums that there is a voltage difference between the two editions while other posts say that they are the same (I think because of a revision?) other than the look. The SE's reliability has also been called into question.

Which kit would you recommend? Is there a better kit that I should get? I looked at the go go after hearing rave reviews but it seems too big and somewhat expensive.

I am also looking to try dripping (I've been using cartos), for this I'd just attach a drip tip onto one of the included atomizers correct?

I bought the SE kit 2 months ago, been vaping LR 510s and 306 on it since and it's been fine for me. I like the steel look too, looks awesome with a steel coloured dual coil on it...

one on the right. As you can see though, the ring around the button loses it's shine pretty quickly.

When did that happen? I must have missed it. Is it announced anywhere?

heard about it on a thread awhile ago. and when i emailed lf to ask about the voltage of there ego passthroughs to see if they were 3.7 they said only the new rivas were 3.7v, i think they were 3.7 with 4.2 off the charger can't remember if they said they were regulated or not but pretty sure they aren't

I emailed LF about this last week and was told that the Riva is 3.7 and the only difference between the lite bundle an the SE is the band color.. so if it's worth and extra $5 to have the different band color....Love my Riva with the 2.0 boge carto!
Did you specifically ask them what it runs at under load?

Because yeah, all Rivas are 3.7v devices, as are eGos and 510s and all the rest.
It is what it runs at, for real when under load, that matters.
