Today I received the Riva 510 I ordered as a replacement for the Gamucci Micro that failed on me after an hour's use. The Riva is exactly what I always assumed vaping SHOULD be: easy drag, copious amounts of vapor, and a reassuring throat hit. I've been using it all day and the battery has yet to die, so while I can't say how long the battery lasts, I can tell you that it lasts long enough. I'll try to remember to edit this once the battery quits.

On the down side, it's a bit bulky, has no LED and is manually operated[I like the autos simply because I'm lazy, and the LED is just an amusement, though the button lights up when you press it so you know it's activated], but in my own opinion these are all very minor inconveniences. Overall I am very pleased with how it functions, and the four-piece design[battery, atomizer, refillable cartridge and screw-on cover that is mostly for aesthetic purposes] is very practical and well made.

The Riva 510 was recommended to me by members of this forum after my disastrous experience with the Gamucci Micro, and I sincerely thank you all for your great advice!

Also, I am using 24mg Menthol Smooth e-liquid from Liberty Flights, and I've discovered that while the threading is different, you can physically attach the 510 atomizer to a Gamucci battery, though for some reason it still produces very little vapor. I wouldn't recommend it, though, since I'm worried it will ruin my atomizer, and will almost certainly mess up the threading if I tighten it any harder.

-Update-
About 36 hours later, the first battery finally died. I don't know how it lasted so long- it's a 650 mah battery with a 2.0 ohm atomizer, and I vaped over 5 ml of fluid, so I don't know how it held out, but it did, and I am truly impressed. Also I've come to notice that the cartridge leaks a little where it connects to the atomizer, but the cone attachment isn't merely aesthetic: one, it covers the leaky area, so you don't get any juice on your fingers; 2, it adds structural support, so the atomizer won't break off from the battery as easily.
