I hope you know I was just kidding,,,I have several cats of my own......and we have all kinds of birds that we feed, even have some wood peckers.... and yes, I keep my kitties AWAY from the birds.

Do the Riva batteries regularly only last about 3 months?

My Riva SE battery just died - just after the warranty expired! This battery was rarely used, so I don't know what happened. It acts like it is charging, but it never does, and it gets REALLY hot! The light will come on right after charging, and it will work, but only marginally. After a little will, the light won't come on at all - like really dead.

Anyway, I just noticed a warning about hooking the battery to the USB cable BEFORE plugging the USB into power, on the L-F website. I don't recall seeing that warning when I bought the SE set.

My older Riva set and spare SE battery are still working great, so I threw this up here to let others know about the charging instructions, and what happened to my too cool SE battery.
