Charlz, I forget which threads I am in at this point. :p

I know! I realized we were picking up conversations from multiple threads. And the fact that KeysBum chimed in to "sneer" at our PVs over a few of them was hilarious. I like to have fun but at some point we need to get back to the matter at hand.

VIVA la RIVA!!(?)

are those the same ce2 style ones that are sold for 8-10 bucks elsewhere (or is this a redesign.) Can say I didn't like them for my ego but may work well on a riva. I guess I'm going to need a 3.7+ 510 soon so I can join in more
I haven't seen them anywhere else except EM and they are more expensive there. These work good on my ego but a little better on the Riva. These are much better than the ce2 I tried and are not anything like them. Here is a picture.

Have you tried the Riva-T tank? I've been using one five days and it really works good. It isn't designed anything like the ego tank and works much better. It has a 2ml tank that hasn't leaked a drop and every hit has been the same. They produce excellent flavor and vapor and are the best atty tanks I've tried. Tony has them at RIVA-T TANK - $4.99 : Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52
Hey txtumbleweed!
Wow! That looks fantastic! Is the price correct on that? Is there a way to change out the atty, or is it an all-in-one tank that you toss when it burns out?

They look similar to the giantomizers I have seen and tried. They wick to the top coil. I liked the design but they performed like other ce2s in they needed to be fiddled with and would still be leaky and were prone to wicking issues and dry burns.

These though, I will have to check out. The hardware is worth it. Those metal adapters to a 801 tip can be popped out and used in mega ego stuff to use with an 801 tip as well instead of the giant rubber tips. I had the sand it down a little to fit in the mega tubes but it was worth it because I do not like the giant tips at all. I found some good uses for the window sleeve as well.......Will be putting these in the cart when I need more echo carts.

Can you take them apart and rinse the wicks?

They look like the giantomizers but are smaller and work a 1,000 times better than them. You can't take them apart without destroying them. Tony took one apart and said they are very well made with a ceramic cup the coil sits in. They come with a hard whistle tip but I got a little condensation buildup with the whistle tips so I've been using a 801 driptip with it.

^^THIS^^
Can those tanks be self-refurbished?
Nevermind. Answered. :)

Also, can someone explain to me Type A/B/C/D? I was looking at the Delrin drip tips on LF and they have the 4 different types. I searched for an answer, but alas, I came up empty.

I believe the giantomizers as well as my ce2s were plactic cups so Yay! I'm prepared for condensation buildup. Nothing you can do about it when it comes to bigger carts. pop the tops, blow em out, vape away!

I've found if you use a driptip the bigger hole allows the excess vapor to escape and eliminates most of the condensation buildup.:2cool:

It depends on which one you are looking at. The 801 has a A and B and they are just different shapes. The ego types depend if you want one for a cone or cylinder atty.
I am looking at the 510/901 drip tips. The Delrins are type C and D, and the metal ones are Type A and B. The pics show obvious differences in shape, but is the connection to the caro or atty the same? Electronic Cigarette - Drip Tips - 510 / 901
A self-refurbishing tank...................:blink:gimme!!!!

You know what I meant.

Tx, any thoughts on the VV Riva? I'll probably save my money for one that goes up to 5 or 6 volts but if I did pull the trigger on another "normal" battery, this ones looking good.

I haven't tried the Riva VV but I do have an 1,000 mah ego VV and it works good. It is really a switchable voltage that you can vape at 3.4-3.7 or 4.2.:2cool:
I just ordered a Lavatube and is reasonably priced for a nice VV especially if you already have 18650 batts and charger. It is 69.00 for the Tube with free shipping.:2cool:
I don't normally like to vape higher than 4.5 volts but I thought I would pick one up so I can try a little higher Voltage if I want to.:vapor:

so it goes through it's normal decline from 3.4-3.7 of you can switch between those two too.

Now.....quick explaination between Variable and Switchable, please? I think I can guess but my guess might be silly.

??
Variable - dial that you adjust on the PV
Switcable - Must change the battery inside the PV to change the voltage
??

Just in case anyone else is looking for an answer to the original question I had asked, the only difference between the Lite and SE is the aesthetics. I just received my Lite bundle today, and it comes in a very nice box, so not sure about the whole presentation box thing as far as the SE is concerned.

Also, I spoke with Leah from LF today, and she has confirmed that ALL RIVA BUNDLES HAVE TRUE 3.7V BATTERIES INCLUDED. :D
