The switchable voltage you just click the button five times and it will switch to one of the three voltages. If you want to use the higher 4.2 V it will only hold that voltage for a short time.??
Variable - dial that you adjust on the PV
Switcable - Must change the battery inside the PV to change the voltage
??
A VV like a Lavatube you can go up or down .1 volt at a time from 3.3 to 6 Volts. Some VV Pv's have dials and others you click a button.
The ego or Riva VV are good but you just can't go up to the higher voltages and won't hold at 4.2 as long as the VV mods. I like to vape between 3.7 and 5 V depending on the carto or atty I'm using. That being said there isn't a lot of difference if you have a good carto and a good 3.7 v PV I haven't used a VV for sometime but I just got my new Lavatube in the mail as I'm was typing this so I will be playing with it for a while.

Just have to remember which hand has the manual button. I'll hold off for now. I'm testing a lot of juices now so I'm pumping my $ into fresh tasting hardware anyway.
