I picked up some LR cartomizers to use with my RiVa to simulate the good vapor production I get with my 5V passthrough. I assembled my RiVa with the LR carto and the vapor production was almost nil and the draw was hard enough that I worried I would soon be slurping juice. I was in the process of disassembly, going to go back to a regular cart and attie or tethering myself to the coffee table, and after taking the cone off, I made one last desperate draw on it before relegating my LR cartos to the back of a drawer. Yowza!! It suddenly worked like I had hoped.
I'm new to vaping and not mechanically oriented, so I'm assuming this has something to do with airflow. It's not something I've noted with my regular atties, so I don't know if the LR cartos require more or what. In any case, I thought I would post this so that anybody who else may be having a similar problem with their RiVa and carto function may find this useful.
