Okay, all these batteries are very similar(minus the hello016, perhaps.)

I need a little help in finding the distinguishing characteristics of each of these batteries.

I'd just like to know what stands out about each of these, why one is better than the other, which is the best quality, which one YOU would choose(and why)...basically just how different they are from one another.

Here's what differences I know about them(please correct any misinformation I have):

Battery life(in mah): Ego-650, T-Rex-650, Riva-750, Ego(mega)-900, Tornado-1000, Hello016-1300

Looks: I haven't done much in this department, but I think the ego has a plasic button that lights up, the riva has a recessed button that lights up, the t-rex has a circle around the middle that lights up and the hello is a bit bigger.

That's about all I know about the differences.

I actually saw and held an ego at a store today and the button was plastic and felt pretty loose. It felt kind of cheap. Only the button though, the rest felt pretty good.

Anyway, whatever anyone can answer is great!

Thanks ahead of time for helping :)

Oh, also any good deals on any of them, feel free to let me know! :D

Well, I have the Riva and the Ego ( 2 of each) so I can talk about those. The Ego is rated at 650mah and the Riva at 750mah as you already know. I have not been able to determine any difference in performance between the the two. I have not actually run any of them completely down until they reach the stage of blinking. I do use all four heavily every day but one charge every 24 hours is sufficient. It usually takes only 45 minutes to an hour to recharge them. (Thank goodness I have 2 chargers) I also have a couple of the Ego 1000mah batts that I am saving for a rainy day. Haven't tried them yet.

The only other differences in the Riva and the Ego are the gold trim on the Rivas, and the silver trim on the Egos. Also the buttons are different. The Ego has a slightly larger button that is somewhat concave or indented (presumably to conform to the finger tip). It is somewhat loose and tends to "float" around in the opening. Not so much that it feels sloppy tho. I kinda prefer it over the Riva which has a smaller, flattish button that does not wobble or float in its smaller opening.

I have not had any problems with either brand in almost 8 weeks of use. So, it would be a toss up. I guess the Riva might have a slight edge with the larger battery, but I am not happy with the atomizers that came with them. They are physically different from the Ego attys and have a very light and airy draw. They are still interchangeable with the Ego batts, but they just look different on the outside. That is, the metal trim extends about 1/4" up from the threads on the outside of the atty, where the Ego is solid black from the threads up.

Anyway, your question was more about the batteries, so theres my two cents.

I have eGo's, mega eGo's, Riva, Hello 16, and a 510 Vgo. (Not listed but in the same category.) I can't speak to the T-Rex or the Tornado. I like the Riva's button a bit better than the others. It's a soft, rubbery button rather than the hard plastic of the eGos. The Hello 16 also has a rubbery button, but it's a different shape. It's probably equal to the Riva button in order of preference. The hard plastic button on the eGos does move around a bit, but I've yet to have any problem with any of them and have been using them almost five months.

The Hello 16 rubberized finish has chipped significantly on my battery. I've heard of others saying the same about the cone, but my cones are ok so far. I object to having to use the atomizer and cone in one piece if I want to use a cone. Those conamizers cost about $11.00, which is high for an atomizer. You can use a regular 510 atomizer with the Hello, but I prefer the looks of all of these units with the cone.

The Vgo is a prettier big battery 510 than any of the others. I did a comparison review of it that you can see here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/electronic-cigarette-reviews/115042-vgo-vs-ego.html

I think my favorites are the mega eGos. The batteries last me 10-12 hours, I like all of the available colors, and I haven't had a problem with any of them.

eGo, mega-eGo and Tornardo are Joye. They happen to have the advantage, in my mind, of being made by the people who developed them; the rest being knock-offs. I rather give my money to people who actually work on improvements. But that's just me.

At least the eGo and the Riva are regulated, I don't know about the others. Also, on the Riva and eGo, you can exchange the cones.

The vGo has cones that don't fit those two and vice versa.

The F16 has its atty build into its cone. It vapes nicely, but you either need to buy those atties or vape without a cone.

For the T-Rex, search the forum. I remember at least one thread that said they are not exacly well built or long-lasting, although I do like the design.
