Karen, I hate to fly, and avoid it if at all possible! Heck, I've taken the train all the way to California at least three times, and also to Florida several times, New Mexico, etc, etc. I managed to not fly for around twenty years, and only gave in when I retired and wanted to get myself to Venezuela - even then would have taken a boat, but passage by boat to Venezuela is all but impossible now too, so I had to fly.
All that is to say that even though I also hate long drives, I'd do that sooner than fly. So while I appreciate the offer, I think it's the van or nothing for me for this trip.
If we do both go though, let's definitely talk about room sharing - and if they allow three in a room, with Paislia too!

I'm flying for sure I can't do the drive with my back, I would be in so much pain I would enjoy the meet up.

Anyway, I'm freeing up a seat on the van... I booked a flight with Kcos so I won't have to take as much time off of work.
sad to say, but i'm out. i was really planning on going but i just found out that i have family coming in from Philly that weekend for a birthday surprise. on a positive note, the money that i'm not spending will be paying for my Z-Atty Pro... so, i at least have that to look forward to.
I'm still leaning very heavily toward going - can you share some more information about proposed departure day and time, and the same for return? I would need to figure in hotel stay plans (how many nights, etc).
I was planning on departing Friday morning, leaving Sunday after vapefest and staying with a friend in northern, IN.
Thanks. So in leaving Friday morning, I should plan on the hotel room for both Friday and Saturday nights then, right? (I didn't know whether I'd be planning for that, or for just Saturday night, for example, if we left late on Friday and arrived Saturday morning).
I guess that'd be possible, if they'll let me modify my rental I've reserved. And I don't know how anyone else...if anyone else is going would feel abaout that.
