Root Beer Float

We just got a root beer float (sweetened) in the mail. It tasted like burnt plastic to three of us. I tried filling two brand new cartos with 20 drops to be sure it wasn't the cartomizer. Is this one of those liquids you have to let sit for a week or two? Anyone else tried this flavor?

I've gotten 3 other juices from TV that were all very good.

Yes, this is DEFINITELY one of those flavors that needs to sit.

I never took a liking to the rootbeer float. It's a couple months old I wonder if I should taste it again.

It's steeped for 5 days now and I gave it another go. The ick has completely gone away and it now tastes just like rootbeer. It is a bit mild, but very yummy.
