Root beer... great after taste, not so great initially

I purchased a 10ml bottle of some root beer e liquid from a local b&m. The initial taste is like a brick wall to the face of some flavor I cannot pinpoint (peppery or some sort of spice.. cinnamon maybe?), and it is horrible tasting. But the taste that lingers a few seconds after taking a puff tastes JUST LIKE root beer. I don't like it because of the initial taste, but im going to let it steep and try it again later since it is freshly made at the store. anyone have a good experience with this or similar flavors?

I have a 18mg bottle of Roar Vapor Creme & Rootbeer, but I grew tired of it before I finished it and dumped it out.

I don't know if it's just me, but I've noticed that all the juices from my local B&M's are pretty raunchy. Like cheap cologne.

I have 2 different root beers sitting here...I can't handle vaping them...They leave a weird after taste in my mouth..I am guessing the sink will have the pleasure .....

Yep! If they're using sarsaparilla root, it takes a while for that to blend with the sweetener, that's most likely the spice flavor I noticed, too. Or whatever they use to make root beer flavor.

My guess is anise. I have had root beer from Mt Baker Vapor and that is what it tastes like to me. I get the same taste from all pop flavors I try.

I got the root beer from MBV and I hated it at first so I put it away and forgot I had it. Fast forward a month and tried it again and now it's in my daily rotation. It tastes just like the root beer barrel candies!

If you have wintergreen flavor, you could try adding a tiny bit to your weird-tasting root beer. Homemade actual root beer includes wintergreen for crisp flavor, and it helped my root beer vape taste better.

I've gone through a lot of root beers and root beer floats and the best one I've had is still the first one I tried, Mom & Pop's Rootbeer Float. Hands down the most authentic to me. It is a real gunker though.
