I have Virgin vapors Bed of Roses, which is a very nice rose scent and flavor-it is strong but not harsh or artificial. It is not sweet, but the taste is like biting into a rose petal.
I also have the Alice in Vapeland Lavender Ever After, which is a creamy lavender. It is not harsh at all (none of AIV's flavors are harsh). I tried mine and liked it, it is mild and I am letting it steep since alice in vapeland tends to need a fair amount of steeping on many of their flavors. I'd recommend both of these.

I've heard great things about AiV's Lavender Ever After. Her "Lucky No 11" is a lychee/rose combo. I like it a lot....haven't tried the lavender ever after yet. But you will probably not be disappointed.

I also found MBV's lavender to be harsh. But I haven't tried it since it's been steeping for a couple months. I wonder if it mellows out over time?

Basically, this is exactly what I was going to say. I have a really hard time letting my AiV juices steep, though, because they've all been amazing right out of the mail (and somehow get even better over time...they have magical e-juice creation abilities, I swear). VV Bed of Roses is really nice, too. I've tried other lavenders and roses, and those two are the best I've found.
