It'll be 13 weeks as of Friday for me, and I've spent just over $650. I keep finding new juice vendors to try and just bought a MV 2xAA Box mod (coming today!). There's just so much out there and it's hard to not to want it all! Would love a Reo Mini but I've gotta chill out on the spending...for a couple weeks anyway. ;)

I won't break even for a while but I honestly don't care. I don't see why any of us should. We are not smoking, and that is all that matters.

Alot of us are happy to not be smoking analogs anymore, but the cost side of it is a very nice bonus to many of us. I use the money saved as a calculator on how soon before I will spend money on something else, as a way to maintain the budget I had before.

not to scare anyone off but how much have you invested in e-cigs.

anywhere from mods... kits.. liquid... accessories.. and so forth... along with how long you've been vaping..

ive been vaping roughly 23 days... and spent a little under $200.00 on everything .. i'm happy with my setup and now only purchase refills such as lr atty's... carto's and juice.

fyi.. i rock the ego-t with carto's and lr atty's... i cannot stand the tank system.. no flavor.

Speed of light to the twelfe power :)

I won't have saved a single penny vaping my first year from what I would have spent buying my cigarettes but that's fine with me. I didn't initially make the switch to save money. I've loved the journey of finding what works best for me in the vaping world. Looking forward to my second year of vaping I expect that I will see savings. If I manage to only purchase the three new mods that have caught my eye, and replenish flavorings for DIY along with an occasional new DT, a few attys and cartos along with a few other new toys to try out I'm thinking that I'll spend about a third of what smoking would be costing me. What ever it turns out to be will be just fine with me as I'm no longer a smoker and that is priceless.

I think I've spent a little less than $300, I got lucky and found this website after I got my first freebie E-Cig, got a Mega eGo and just been buying Juice and Cartomizers since then. Though I do plan on spending another $50 or so on Friday for some more odds and ends (LR Attys for dripping, Cones to sleek my VP, More Drip Tips, Riva Battery, Juice to add to my ever growing collection).

After 40+ years smoking, I've spent a fortune, close to $8000 over almost 2 years (I love all my mods). That said, I will break even just before I hit my 2 year mark. That includes the latest purchase this week of 2 more mods! :p

A lot better health wise, priceless!

Let the savings begin (I'm well stocked up)!

Started Vaping June 3, so approx 3 weeks or so. had some bumps in the road and still the occasional analog. (2-3 a day but I will take that over 1-2 pad any day of the week :) )

So far for a Joye 510 kit ( 2 batts, 2 attys, home charger, 5 carts) also extra batt and atty, car charger, usb charger, 3-5 packs carts, and about 3-4 diff juice purchases for a total of 90 ml or so.
Grand total $250.00, Ive also paid a bit more for some of my equipment because I bought it from a local vendor, so Im paying for markup, but on the upside no wait for the mail, and I can try some things in the store.

My normal analog would be Newport 100's, and east of the mississippi thats 6-8 bucks a pack. so for 3 weeks of analogs thats 125-170 bucks....not saving yet but that will come soon. Happy Vaping!!

I've been vaping about 8.5 months. I haven't bought any cigarettes since I started vaping with the exception of 2 packs that I gave away. I know I was in for at least 800 dollars in the first 3 months. I stopped keeping track of what I'm spending. As long as I don't know then I can live with it :) I've finally found my sweet spot and I can sit back and just buy the necessities if I want, cartos/attys, juice, and batteries for mods. I know I'll spend more but I know eventually I'll break even without ever knowing when cause I'm not gonna sweat it.

I keep a spreadsheet of my purchases, and how much I saved after expenses.
Use it for my signature, gives me a running total of my actual costs.

p.s. after about 11 months I DIY my juice and have built a few mods, helps keep the
spending down. also most purchases of bulk items - nicotine unflavored base and
cartos / attys were made when there was a good 40-50% off sale going, helped a lot.

$1914.10, Spent way to much in the first 3 months on overpriced No7 and then Smoking Anywhere at the mall, but they got me off a 3 PAD Winston Ultra Light habit after smoking for 53 years so it was worth it. Found ECF looking for batteries for the SA that didn't cost $55 and found out there were places I could get 5 of them for that money. The best part is I can breath again and have never needed the inhaler that the Dr at the VA hospital gave me, that alone was worth anything that this has cost me.
