if this isnt in the right place please move it :) thanks.
anyways i decided to do a test to see how long a 1200mah battery would really last a heavy vaper like me so anyways here is my log let me know what you think.

just switched out the battery and yeah i believe i will get way more than 12 hours out of it. anyways wish me luck bigham1 that my atty doesnt die or some random crap that usually happens lol.
battery switched and vaping away- 8:00am

10:00am- battery running fine getting loads of vapor as usual plus i love the look from confused college students that have no idea what im doing

1:46 pm - sorry i kind of nodded of a little earlier round 12 lol but battery is still rocking(not surprised at all for 1200mah) ill continue to keep it updated.

hey guys its 3:14pm- still pumping out clouds of vapor no drop off for heavy use for 7 hours of use. just orderded some cisco 306's with drip tip so keep an eye out for my video review and also got some bluemistvaping juices on the way. i love my roughstack just cranks all day long

.

5:20 pm - battery's great not a bit surprised figured there would be a drop off with only 3 potential hours. was shortly afraid my last good atty died but it was just flooded(being sleepdeprived will totally screw your sense of the situation lol

7:05 pm- still rocking out vapor with no discernable drop off. one pontential hour before battery is supposed to be dead. If i were to venture a guess that the mah or mili amps hours (i think thats right
wink.png
. ) of 1200 would suggest to me that on constant even drain it should last 12hours but with intermittent atty firing and pauses if only for 30 sec to a min between puffs will majorly add up.
lets assume that u spend at least an average of 30 seconds between vaping with the occasional 5 minute pause (i.e. super heavy user) starting on the hour we can assume 30 sec between puffs and a 5 minute rest say every 15 minutes.

30 sec between puff-puff
5 minute rest
every 15 minutes so 20 min increments

puff 10 rest 30 taking the total of 40 secs a puff+rest we can come up with this formula for 15 minute intervals

15 minutes*60secs=900secs then we divide 900/40secs and receive 22.5 puffs every 15 min
now we have to take into account that 15 goes into 60 4 times but with a 5 minutes rest
the third 15 minute period will be the last becuase the 5 minute rests will total another
15.
with a total of 67.5 puffs every hour. now to figure out down time the battery isnt being
drained which is 30 secs every 10 sec puff + 5 minutes every 15. so we take back the 30 second rest

by multiplying 30 secs by the number of puffs plus 5 minutes. so 30secs*22.5puffs= 675 secs then divide 675/60secs
becuase there are 60 secs to a minute. you come up with a total of 11.25 or 11 minutes 25 secs which we add 5 mins to
so we get a downtime of 16 minutes 25 seconds every hour you are not draining the battery. for a 1200mah battery with
the expected battery life of 12 hours you get 16.25 times 12 hours gives us 195 minutes which we divide by 60 minutes
to the hour we get 3 hours and 25 minutes of total down time or life the battery should have under this assumption

quite simply in the battery's normal mah rated life at this rate of vaping you still havent used 3 hours and 25 minutes of
battery life. so potentially you could adjust the variables such as puff length and rest/time between puffs to figure out
averagely how your battery rating should last for you. (dont forget to factor in sleep

9:32pm - that amount of math kinda just ruined my day lol so i just vaped away reading www.cracked.com which is a hilarious webstie. really cant wait to get my cisco 306's for my roughstack. also decided on green tea juice and peppermint from bluemistvaping.com so if u guys have tried it let me know what u think ill be putting up a review as soon as i get it. batterys got no drop off after 13 hours which i thought really only applied to high drain batteries which these arent there just 18350 1200mah 3.7v trustfire protection circuits from madvapes so idk.

11:00pm - finally got a little drop in vapor production not enough to warrant a battery change but enough to notice but 8 am to 11 pm or 15 hours before any drop in vapor isnt bad lets see how long i can get

1:00 am - gotta love some DK-TAB when my other juices just arent giving me that thoart hit DK always does

. battery still good plenty of vapor. 1200mah just lasts. madvapes has put up their new maxi roughstack which is a 3.7v, 6v, or 7.4v device. and the 3.7v battery is a 2400mah. id love to get my hands on it to test out. anyways i have noticed it is taking a little longer for my atty to warm up so idk why but jsut an observation

3:00 am- still going getting a decent amount of vapor. i can tell the battery is not fully charged and its not bad enough to warrant a change but noticeable

5:00 am i have been up for about 24 hours now and the battery is near dead. i can tell becuase of the weak vapor (very little to none at all) lack of flavor and the time its taking my atty to start its burn at correct temperature.

there you go at 3.7v unregulated on a 18350 3.7v trust fire PC batterie with standard 510 atomizer in the neighborhood of 2.5ohms you can get roughly about 21 hours out of the projected 12 per mah and i think that has to do with the drain. constant versus intermittent
anyway i gotta get some sleep my brain is fried and my batt needs to charge . most defenitly let me guys know what you think and ill check back when i wake up
peace

Yes, on a one milliamp drain.

Well...you're off slightly on your understanding of battery capacity vs atomizer drain but this IS a good report on how long this set-up will last while vaping in this way. To put it simply, your 1200 mAh (milliampere-hour) battery can put out 1200 milliamps continuous for one hour before discharge. OR, as the way you're thinking about it; 1 milliamp for 12 hours (an atomizer pulls over an amp)

I would imagine any automotive two stage (base/clear) would work. I do automotive paintwork onthe side and for fun but nothing graphical. One of my old RN4081 batteries is 2000 GMC Sierra Pewter Metallic using some leftover Duplicolor. Its held up to some pocket abuse fine. Take the piece down to bare metal. Clean and scuff. Although you can go straight to color hitting it with some self-etching primer will have better results.

I read on some thread that regular paint didn't work, but powder coat paint does?

ice

Powder coat isn't a paint. It will be more durable, though.
The parts I've painted turned out fine except for the typical pocket damage. A knife in the pocket tends to do that...LOL
