We've finally got roughstacks back in stock and will be adding them on the site soon. The tumbling takes off whatever shine the machining process leaves on the tubes and gives it more of a greyish finish..

I'm in the same situation. I have a box of triple coil cartos and some HV attys as well. I just need the extension tube! Tumbled, not tumbled - doesn't matter to me.
Where did you find the triple coils? I found some, but they wanted 8 bucks for just one (robbery)!

hold on, the tumbling process takes off the shine and leaves it more grey looking? by the pictures on the site it seemed like the pics of the roughstack are a dull finish and then i look at the tumbled comparison pic and there is one dulled and one shiny. so, i was under the impression that "tumbled" meant more polished looking. reading the descriptions it doesn't describe the finish of regular versus tumbled at all. on the tumbled comparison pic, can you guys (madvapes) add a little caption to make it a little clearer? there are 0 tumbled finish ones in stock for the maxi but there are 7 in stock for the regular finish maxi. if the regular finish is the shinier one, i'd rather jump on and grab that one while it's in stock.
Yes Eddie, you are correct. The regular has a polished look. The tumbled is a matte finish, and looks like battleship grey.
Totally replaced my egos with a maxi roughstack I got from classifieds. 1 3000mah lasts longer than all 4 of my ego batts, love it. Could also hold it like a cigar was going to order an extra top cap just in case, are spare parts coming back as well?

A new switch assembly is coming soon. Uses wire instead of spring.
I can not believe how fast those Roughstacks fly out of there. Gone in few hours...lol

yeah, they were in stock yesterday, i had to pull the trigger fast last night, i got the regular finish maxi roughstack en route. my diy mod is pretty much the same thing but bigger/heavier, looking for a production model that's a little cleaner and smaller, hopefully the roughstack fits in my little lanyard thingy i got from madvapes...
They are going to replace spring w/ a wire.
Something like this except w/ a quick disconnect.
