reviews probably isn't the place for this, but OK.

If the switch is loose, tighten the nut. If the 510 connector is loose, send it back to madvapes. The switch being loose can cause it to misfire because there is a spring in the circuit that can short if it touches anything else or can quit making contact.

The 510 connector being loose is pretty strange. It takes quite a lot of abuse to cause that. It would have to have an atty or carto installed and then get stepped on or something to generate enough force to break it loose.

As for battery life I really don't understand how ur only getting 5 hours of life out of the 18350 because I used my roughstack like a pacifier with a cisco lr 306 and tje only reason I'd have to stop is the cisco getting hot. I generally got a good solid 10 hours out of my batt if not more and I'm a solid vapor

My RS has been running solid for a good 4 months.. Until the other day it wasn't firing at all! Tried a different atomizer.. Nothing. Swapped out batteries..still nothing.. Checked the connection of the spring to the atty... Seemed fine. Turns out the gasket separating the positive and negative connection in the atty connector was completely decomposed :/ so my RS was shorting out. I managed to harvest another gasket out of an old carto.. So far so good!
Just be careful everyone if u guys are using any adapters and/or going through a lot of AC :p Make sure you screw in the adapter first and then your atty/carto, and dont over tighten them! Other than that, I love my Roughstack!
I wish there were some tank options for us.. Any suggestions?

I'm going out on a limb and assuming you have a protected batt:)

x2 on not over tightening carto or the insulator could get squished.

My RS loves dual coil.

The roughstack is the sturdiest device I own. The switch like others say must just need a quick tightening on the nut. The connector must have been damaged or improperly installed. Send it back to madvapes for a replacement. When you get another I bet you will see it is a great device. You should get good battery life... Could be the battery you have is the problem. I use the maxi which will give you the best bat life you can get.

I'm running the 1.5 ohm dual coils.. I like em.. Get a Nice full TH. Only problem is refilling.. Atomic cinnacide really breaks down the filler material.. I'm hesitant to refill more than a couple times.. I used to drip exclusively, but was getting tired of the cinnacide burns on my hands and face from all the leaking :( just wish there was a tank option for it that would have to look so goofy on my RS :\

Atomic Cinnicide is the only juice I don't use in a carto. I still vape this stuff through my eGo type A standard atomizer with blue foam, and only fill it about 3/4 full to prevent any leaking. I still have a mark on my wrist from my first cinnicide burn, and don't want another. I refill cinnicide over a paper towel, and always wash my hands immediately after using it.

everything else goes into a carto on my RS

I'm still using the pair I got with the RS v2 kit.. They're definitely passed their prime :p used to get about a day and a half off one battery. Now I'm lucky to get through one day.
What's everyones position on the aw or imr high drain 18350s in a roughstack? Any noticeable difference in performance?

I rarely loose a drop w/ DC.

If the tank ever does spring a leak I hope it's far from your goodies:)

Size comparison of RS vs C size batt.

My spring to wire Mod for reliable switch to atty connector interface.

RTV for leak free RS.

I think the switch itself is a good one and that some "switch" issues are actually from poor contact between spring and atty receiver.

how are those new trustfires working for you, Emus? I ordered a couple to try along with some more DCC's :p should be here tomorrow :D

The trustfire 18350 seems to work identical to ultrafire 18350.

I like the flame cover trustfire on my jazz cartopipe; looks good.

These LiIon batts start off just north of 4 volts.

Have not compared to IWR.

Which carto brand had the gasket? Same thing happened to me.

are you referring to the gasket in the atty connector on the RS? If so, I think i ended up using the seal out of a dead 510 atty. I just pulled the center post out along with the rubber seal. A bit tricky to install in the RS. I recommend placing the seal on the center post of the RS atty connector, try to push it in there as far as you can without squishing it, then get an atty or carto and screw it down the rest of the way.. that should engage the seal properly..i hope :p
