Royal Wire/Anarchist Wire on a regulated device?

Was wondering if it's safe to use Royal Wire or Anarchist wire on a regulated device. I dont remember exactly what my friend told me but I asked about all these low resistance wire's coming out and he told me they're good if you like a hot vape but I think I remember him telling me about the wire melting or something. Has anyone heard about or experienced this issue? And was it from pumping too much power through the wire or firing the build for too long? Again, I dont remember exactly which one was it, but I do remember him saying that something can make it melt lol I've been on the fence on trying some of the wire and my go-to shop just got some in-stock so I might give them a shot but I don't want anything melting in my dripper lol

Am I being a worry-wart for no reason and are low resistance wire's safe on any device (assuming you have the right batteries) or is there some caution that needs to be taken when using these wire's aside from resistance worries? Also, for reference, I'm going to be trying out the wire on a sigelei using paired Samsung 25r's

Newsflash for you guy/gal. Anarchist wire is nichrome, a pretty common resistance wire used in lots of stuff. I'm pretty certain it's nichrome 80; huge markup on cheap stuff. As with anything vape related, start off slow and then just bump up the power until it's satisfying. Nichrome is softer than kanthal and will deform if the power is too high while you're dry firing it. You're much better off using a regulated device rather than a mech to fire it.

I use 24G N80 in my drippers. It's perfectly safe as long as you use it safely. It heats faster and cools faster and is a lil easier on battery power. It IS lower resistance, so if you are going to use it add a couple of wraps from your normal Kanthal builds. Always test before you fire. It's a nice vape, but it does heat faster so turn the power down a lil bit from what you use for KA1. If you want to see the difference it makes on paper, use Steam Engine. Plug in your build for kanthal. Then switch it to Nichrome 80 and watch the numbers change. Pay particular attention t resistance and heat flux.

With a regulated mod resistance does not matter as long as the mod will fire it. You are not using resistance to set the temperature you are using voltage and current to set the watts of heat the coil produces.

Thin wire heats up faster and gives you more coil to wick surface contact; thick wire heats up slowly and has less coil to wick contact when comparing coils with the same dimensions.
