RSST: Tips and Tricks before i start?

so awhile back as recommended here i ordered an rsst, just recieved it, also got some 400 ss mesh and 30g kanthal. any tips tricks i need to knw as this will be my first time building, oxidizing and coil spacing and how many wraps and all that good stuff.. my buddy is moving close by this month and is bring me his Neme clone, till then i just have my svd.

I wrapped my three times (29 guage I think) and it came to .8-.9 OHMs. Think you only need to oxidize the top part that sticks out of the tank, the whole process only took a few minutes. It was my first time doing it as well and I found it to be pretty easy. Might want to check that 30 guage on a multi-meter though.
