Has anyone try this hybrid wick for a genesis style atty?

i find I am not tilting enough....
i built a 4 wrap 30 gauge, works ok but seem loose. Might try more mesh. I have a magneto mech on it as well.
Should I go for 3 wraps? Any advise for better wicking and good coil design.
Would like to stay above 1 and around 1.4 ish.
