1. for RTA's is it recommended you use verticle coils? I just got my goblin mini and the little cyclinder that goes around the desk is so tiny and especially tight right after adding cotton was wondering if these were made for verticle coils mainly? I tried using 24gauge wire wrapping for 0.5 ohms and it barely fit horizontally.

2. I literally went through what feels like 10 feet of wire just to make 2 coils for this rta it kept reading 0.11/0.15 ohms and I am not sure why. it was 26 guage wire, 7 wraps, dual coil to get around 0.5ohms one coil was fine it read okay 0.90 but when I add in 2 it kept reading 0.11 I literally had to do 8 wraps because my mod cannot handle that low of an ohm coil. any ideas why? deck was screwed tightly

screws were very tight, leads were cut they were touching the other coils though because I cannot clip them how I put them. I skip a post and so the 2nd coil typically goes directly into the first coil never had an issue though with this it still read fine from their. not sure if it was touching that chimney part could have been as the one coil I built was like that and I had to push it more inward to get the coils inside the chimney part.

anyone know how the hell to clip the leads when using duel coils? first coil is fine it's usually the 2nd coil usually the leads touch the 1st coil because the coil is right up in their.

When I install the second coil, I push the first one down, and make sure the leads for the second one go on top of the first coil. Then bend my leads straight up against the posts. Once my coils are in place and I've checked my build, I clip all 4 at the tops of the posts, then use tweezers to squeeze them tight against the posts.
