RTA Leaking - what am I doing wrong?

I'm reviewing a new rta. It's really an awesome tank in every way but one. Let me start at the beginning. I watched a few YouTube video reviews just to see if there was anything odd that might catch me off guard but it was pretty straight forward.

I assembled it with no problems, screwed it together and filled it. It vaped great and I really enjoyed it. Well, I come back an hour later and the tank is bone dry and you can picture the rest. juice everywhere in and on my MOD.

I tried changing the o ring with the same results. After much trial and error I realized I was tightening the rta too tightly and there is a sorta sweet spot between loose and tight.

I had too loosen it and let the o ring do it's job.
Is there anything else I should be doing?

Without knowing what rta your answers will be too generic to be of any real use.

I would check to see if your wick is resting agenst the sides of the air intake riser. If it is touching then liquid will run down the air channel continuously, just like on the Griffon 25+

If there was an extra piece of glass I would give it a try too, sometimes the glass is a little out of shape and the seal in the tank is lost.

That's one thing I noticed is the glass is Misshapen where it meets at all the bottom. Maybe I'll give the 3.5 me tank a try. Thanks for that.
