I agree with this 100%

When I started diy I tried making complex flavors. Some worked, and some didn't. There was a lot wasted, and a lot of frustration. Now I might use 2 flavors at the most. So keep it simple, especially to start with.(KISS), for those familiar with the term. :). No offense meant to anybody.

Hey, some of my very favorite flavors are the ones that I still use the KISS method with :)

I do enjoy making the more complex as well though. Especially if I am mixing for friends. It is fun seeing them try to figure out what the heck is in it lol

Wow, SV! That Tiramisu is strong stuff. I tried hard to like it and while it is okay for about 15 minutes, it tends to make everything that I eat and drink taste like it for the next day or two :laugh:

I am glad that you found another FA flavor that you like though. They are the cleanest flavors out there to vape IMO :)

Yes it is strong but for a quick desert flavor its great, was easy to loose the taste when switching to pepermint at 5%:p

I find it quicker to remember how I mix each flavor if I mix em all at 5%. Like I said, not very patient for mixing

As strong as you like your flavors, you may actually love the Tiramisu as well :D

Lol Salem, I've actually toned down my mixing quite a bit ;) I'll likely start out wit 5% total flavor because I plan to mix the Tiramisu with some Fresh Cream.

My all day vape is still a version of the Caramel Coconut Cookie, but I took the cookie flavor out of it, and cut back to 10% from the 20% total flavoring that I used to use. It's still a heavy desert vape, but much better now that I've learned not to be so heavy handed! My Creme De Coconut is a 3% mix :)

As a retired :D Boilermaker, I've been at a nuke a dozen times over the years. Always liked working them - very clean compared to coal-fired.

Will never forget where I was on Tuesday morning Sept. 11, 2001. Chris and I came out of containment at around 9:00 am for our morning coffee break and went to the Unit 1 vending machines. After opening the door to enter the vending machine area - a crowd of people staring at the TV that the plant had above the vending machines. Not a good day. :(

I was sitting on my sister's couch watching t.v. I don't cry easily. But, I cried and cried as I watched.

Got my order this morning and whipped up 15ml of the FA Tiramisu and Fresh Cream @ 5% (half and half) and it's a bit too strong. I do like the Tiramisu flavor mixed with the cream, so I think I'll hit it with about 5ml of unflavored mixed at 15mg nic and see how much that tones it down.

I would give it at least 2 weeks of steeping before diluting it.

Agreed. Most creams do take some steep time before they are really at full flavor IMO

Of course if you are the type that has no patience for steeping and like to make small batches, it may be better to mix to taste right from the start.

I like to mix large batches low and let them steep. Pays off in the end :)

Ahh you know me, Salem...I steep as I vape lol. I did go ahead and add 5ml of unflavored, so we'll see how it mellows from there. I have one of those handy dandy tiny mixers that I use when I mix, love it :)

Ever since I read the info from the Greek flavorist, I no longer shake or vigorously mix my juice. I just swirl it now lol :D Like he says, you are not making a milkshake HA!

I guess my palate is not a genteel as Mr. Greek Flavorist ;)

That's like martinis. Come on, they can really taste the difference between shaken and stirred? They're basically sipping a shot of gin or vodka. They're not fooling me into thinking they're high classed. Put it in a brown paper sack and they're a bum.
I sip high end tequila, but I don't try to pass it off as something other than it is with a ritual of "mixing" it and pouring it into a martini glass.

I use the mixer mainly to save time, and my arm. I mix 30 mls in a 50ml glass beaker. I use the metal mixer shown on the right in the previous pic. I'll mix for approximately 15-20 seconds, pour into the bottle, then let any tiny air bubbles settle out before capping tightly and putting away. I have probably 6 different liquids I mix for myself, and 4 for the wife, and 2 for the DIL, so this saves a lot of wear and tear on my arm from all that shaking I used to do.

Also, all our liquids have a 30ml bottle waiting, and ready to go when the bottle we are working on is finished. Hope all this makes sense. :)
