POLICY OF SALE UPDATE:

Unfortunately, this website does not allow discussion above 36 mg so we will refer to custom mixed nicotine levels:

Randy you can discuss your higher level nic products in the private vendors forum with other vendors.

Randy, I think that it is sad that reviews posted on your site prior to Sept. 16, 2011 are not eligible to win your contest. I purchased 250ml of 100mg nic in August and wrote a nice review. That nic will last me awhile so I haven't made a purchase in September. Whether or not my review would have won a prize is neither here nor there, but I feel penalized by not purchasing at a certain time.

randy what is the specific gravity of your PG?
Does this policy update include the PG base mix or is it just for the VG base mix?

I also do not add distilled water to my mixes.

PG specific gravity is 1.032. Our update does not include PG based nicotine which represents slightly less than 70% of our sales or pure PG.

We have more tickets and requests for special mixtures with VG nicotine than anything else. Everyday 75% of our website tickets are about special mixing of VG based nicotine with distilled water or PG. It is really taking an hour per day just to answer all the special requests for VG based nicotine which represents 12% of our sales. We machine dose with pharmaceutical grade equipment. The minute you want us to hand mix something for you, we are not interested with our current prices.

Have we made special mixtures? Yes, for 12 liters or more minimum order. If we lose some VG customers so be it. Frankly, someone that uses a 70%PG\30% VG may have to adjust their mix to 65\35. If you vape a 100% VG than we are not the supplier for you.

Think of it as a special promotion. We stated the rules and it would be unfair to change the rules for the new customers who entered based on the rules. Than I would have complaints from them.

Our average order amount (dollars) as fallen substantially during this promotion. We have a lot more customers ordering one bottle of 60 ml of xyz we believe just to enter the contest. We like the opportunity of getting our product in their hands.

Most customers do not leave reviews. We have 500 customers and 1,400 orders and only 78 reviews before the promotion. So far this $410 promotion has increased reviews by about 70. If we drop 50% on word count that leaves 35 reviews divided by 8 prizes equates to a 1 in 4 to 5 chance of winning.

Holy smoke, order another 60 ml bottle to enter.

Very sad read this morning about the VG Nic being diluted down with water. That will stop all future orders from me. I'll explain a bit:

As a DIY mixer, all I need from a nicotine suppliers is for the nicotine to be diluted down to safer levels. It is very important that nothing be added as both water and PGA in any amounts change the performance of my juices. Other suppliers messing up and adding PGA to my mixes, is why I stopped doing business there, and they did it on accident. I DIY so that I can be in complete controll of what goes into my mixes, and craft the perfect one to my tastes. I use water in absolutely none of my recipes, and PGA is only added at 1% on pure VG mixes. The XXX% VG nic I purchase from RTS is diluted down to a reasonable viscosity through the use of PG.

If I wanted things added to my juice, I would add them myself. From RTS, I only need the purest VG or PG diluted Nicotine I can get. Maybe I'm odd in this need, and maybe others don't mind water added.

My 2 Cents.

I understand. It is a business decision. Several registered suppliers have specifically requested dilution with distilled water. If enough people complain, we are open for change.

I'm then complaining, I just re-upped from one of my other suppliers and was ready to go and place an order but when the VG was changed I just could not place the order, I hope to see this back next time I'm ready so i can try out your Nic Randy. I only use 100% VG with all organic flavorings from Natures flavors, the combo makes it the same way I like my soup, with crackers and thick. Please bring this back with in the next 60 days !

Virtually all our business comes from ECF members. The best way to convince us we made a bad decision is to place a ticket at our website and not here. When you place a ticket at our website and we click to read it, we can see how many orders and the amounts of each order instantly. A customer who has placed several orders from us saying they will no longer be ordering will have a heck of a lot more influence in making a change in policy.

Hey Randy maybe you could have a special VG order section. While I order in PG it is not an issue but I see several members who are VG only. Most of these guys would probably be OK with 100 mg/ml stuff and you could do a batch at that strength for them and draw off of it. I am sure they wouldn't mind paying a little more to get what they need for their mixes. They certainly would understand that it takes extra time with the posts you have provided.

That is a good comment. Every single bottle size in every strength is ordered. People want what they want.

I can surely understand company policy Randy, but how in the heck will you get new customers that are hard core VG only users if you dont offer it. I admit I haven't placed an order yet because I was waiting for some things to pan out like I normally do, I think they have so I was ready and couldn't place the order. I just wont use Nic that was cut with water , but I would like to try using your Nic and placing an order next time I'm ready. I hope you find a place for us All VG users even if it's a small corner in you facility.

I dont think its a bad decision but your closing the door to people who might want to try your juice Randy, me for one, but there are many more. I think Ski has a very good Idea, you could do small lots of the VG for all of us hard core VG users, I think it would sell.

We appreciate the support. We are having difficulty keeping up in customer growth and do not seem to have a problem getting new customers here. We are very fortunate and will listen carefully and sincerely to all of you. Our increase in sales per month is greater than a 45 degree angle based on dollar volume since or opening in July. We have gone from $4k in July to over $70k in September and the month is not over. We are having growing pains. The IRS is going to tax us on this income and capital investment has to be depreciated over 5 years. The federal government is not making it easy for a new business to grow. We did not expect this rate of growth.

hello. i've been watching your thread and have contemplated an order. I am a vg vaper. I actually do put distilled water in my diy but not until after it comes out of the freezer. my question is, how will the added water in the base affect freezing for future use?

Good question, I do not know. We have some frozen now for 3 days.

@MWA I hope you can get some in VG because Randy truley has a good product here. If you would like a sample (I do PG) to try just PM me and I will send a few mls your way. It is really good stuff and for whatever its worth if I can support keeping some fellow Americans busy that is an added bonus.

@Randy - I am not sure if you have thought of this but some of us are hoarders. I buy and store. I mix for a few people but basically my orders are for personal consumption. I know you look to keep costs down and use good quality plastic bottles. I am not sure how many people would like this option but I would buy a glass bottle from you to transfer my nic into. Not sure if there is much profit in bottles but if I buy 500mls I would add a 500ml Boston amber or cobalt blue bottle to each order. Just a thought if you are looking to add to what you offer on the site. DIYers also buy small dropper bottles, pipettes and stuff and if I am ordering nic and PG/VG they are nice filler items for the box. Happy vapes man

Yes, we have more than just thought about what you are saying we have received several quotes from a half dozen USA suppliers. It is truly amazing to get a quote from US Plastics, for example, for $2,000 and then they want to charge me 65% UPS freight. I can order the same items from China for less than half and pay 20% freight from the other side of the world. We continue to investigate.

Buying bottles and pipettes from China goes against our made in USA theme and we are in a "circular reference" (pontificating) over it.
