I don't really keep up with anything that Rush Limbaugh says or does, but I have to say that I absolutely love this! He gave the New York Times what they deserve! Rush Limbaugh Rips New York Times Over E-Cigarette Article

Another fine piece of writing there Jeff!

Rush gets it 100% right on this... and well worth the effort to read the transcript: Libs Hell-Bent on Banning E-Cigarettes - The Rush Limbaugh Show

Although he says he isn't 'invested' in this (e-cigs), Rush is a great cigar aficionado, and spotted vaping on-air :D

Rush takes on the poison statistics, the fear-mongering stories, and the attitude of the liberal mindset:
if they do it, you have to do it.
If they don't do it, you can't do it.

Great catch here Jeff & Kent!

Rush has had some addictions in the past, so it would kind of hypocritical for him to be against something that would help people addicted to cigarettes. :)

You're right Rush is no hypocrite. He exposes hypocrites. His lead story today:

I have to admit I've never been a huge Rush fan but I am impressed with him over his stance on e-cigs. Finally someone with a strong voice is taking a stand!
How can you not love Rush? They made some of the best progressive rock ever! Exit Stage Left was the soundtrack to my high-school years, and...

Oh. That Rush. He gets on my nerves at times, but he's absolutely in the right on this. What's more, he's very influential. Politicians may decry him, but they listen to what he has to say. Having him in our court is a big thing.

Kent, that picture of Yee is hilarious. I spent my lunch hour reading his criminal affidavit, and it is utterly surreal.

Oh. That Rush. He gets on my nerves at times,

That's his job :D

The politicians do listen. Their constituency only reads what Media Matters says about him taking him out of context mostly. Most have never tuned in.

It's an NRA ad. Perfect, imo. But for as many of them who have gotten caught, few have spent any time in jail....

I spent my lunch hour reading his criminal affidavit, and it is utterly surreal.

Yet typical, imo. It is quite extensive though :)
