The full size is about 10% larger! thus the 91%
Pls don't take that as sarcasm, I recently found that out.

Now there's a Russian BIG out as well.

I love my 91%, but OMG it's heavy. I don't think I would want one any bigger. I was looking at a grimmgreen video of the Kayrun lite which I had been thinking of trying. GG thought it has been discontinued and may be replaced with something new.

Mine was loose from adjusting the 510 connector so I just un-screwed the bottom screw and tightened the insulator screw, once I re-adjusted it.

I had pretty much the same experience. When I said "kicked off at an angle" what was really wrong was the air duct just wasn't snug. So I lined the positive pole up with the insulator base and snugged the air duct back up. Easy fix.

The problem I experienced repeatedly is it wouldn't stay snugged up. Everytime I screwed it into a battery the adjustable 510 connector would make contact with the mech/provari and torque just a little which would rotate the air duct screw and cause the positive pole to short out. After 8 days of trying to get a build working the air duct just sheared off with about a thread and a half left on the bottom piece of it.

I don't know if the problem was the air duct, the adjustable 510 screw, the insulator or the positive pole but I do know that if anything touched that adjustable 510 screw the air duct and the postive pole would twist which caused a short.

FYI, mine was a Russian not a 91%. I didn't think 91% had a collector and that seems to be where the issue was for me.

The Russian base does have a removable bottom or collector tank. It screws onto the base and there is no 0-ring needed best as I can tell. It is supposed scavenge (vendor's word usage) juice. Not sure precisely how it works and have yet to find any juice in it but it's cool....LOL.
Per the Kayfun 3.1 manual from SM --- "Collector tank acts as a small reservoir to collect any excess liquid that can leak. Leakage can occur at the base of the atomizer while refilling or when the user performs a strong inhalation of the device.
The Collector-tank has a 510 connector and is compatible with any battery mod that also supports the 510."

Okay, looks like I am in business. The Russian is piping away and my coil came out @ 1.5 Ohm. Much appreciation for the pointers, and now I have one to add... completely remove the center pin (its actually two pieces) snug up the deck then, add the post (your center pin will be longer) BEFORE you build three coils

Good to hear you have your Russian up and running, cyndezu. Hope you are enjoying it!!
I agree about checking the center pin. I did not remove it when I first cleaned the device and I had one of those "duh" moments as the positive block kept moving when I was trying to tighten down that end of the coil...lol. Sort of had to scratch my head and then did a head slap when I saw how simple the solution to the problem was...

If you just tighten the screw at the bottom of the RBA, it's not enough to secure the positive screw block. You may also have issues with the center screw coming loose when the RBA is attached or removed from an APV causing intermittent shorts.
To secure the positive block remove the small center screw, #19. Hold the positive screw block to the negative screw block with a pair of needle nose pliers so it doesn't move, then tighten the center screw, #18.

I think the tendency for the center pin & thus the deck to loosen has to do with initial heat being applied & the quite small screws holding everything together. It's possible that things expand w / heat & get a bit loose.
Mine did the same thing from new ( never fired presumably ) but after tightening just a bit it's been solid.

Really happy with the vape from the R91 - great flavor, nice & warm & can get the perfect draw since its adjustable. Truly terrific.
Glad I didn't invest in a ton of clear'os or cartos & moved on to winding.
like it so much that I'm considering modifying one to work w / a bottom fed chassis.

One downside - these really go thru juice in a hurry compared to the previous ce-5 or cartos, guess it's due to the better wicking & larger surface area of the coil ? ( hence the BF experiment / larger bottle )
