Russian Help!

Hey all,

I bought a russian (authentic, not 91%) a month or so ago. Loved it at first, fired on my provari, mech mod etc. However a few weeks ago it stopped working on my provari and all regulated mods. Rebuilt at 1.4, tested on ohms meter, still nada. Provari showed no error codes. I rebuilt again last night, looks the same as the rest of my builds put it on my mech mod (nemesis clone)--It fired then burned my hand quickly. Any ideas--Spent $100 on this puppy and I'd like to get it to work.

It's worked before on my provari and other regulated devices but will not work now and shows no error codes...Ideas? What would cause it to stop working, shock my hand and no longer work on my provari without displaying an error code?

Feeling a shock and burning points to an electrical short somewhere in the tank. Perhaps a bad insulator which is creating the short?

Sounds like the insulator either on the build deck or in the 510 connection has failed. Happens sometimes from running them too hot.

What Baditude said. It sounds like you have a short on the atty some where.

The most common problem I have seen is when tightening the posts, the bigger side with air hole gets tweeked and touches the other post causing a short. Check the post and make sure nothing is touching.

take a pic of the deck for us to see what is wrong. sounds like a short at posts.. the center pin is adjustable i believe..
