I don't have any experience with the RX200, but I do know that some TC mods will kick out of TC mode if the resistance of the atomizer falls outside of its required resistance range for temperature control.

Also, there was some chatter on Reddit several months ago about firmware issues on the RX200, but I believe that they've been resolved with recent firmware updates.

Need help guys. noob vaper here. i had my rx200 for almost a week now. i have an Innokin iSub Apex Tank with it. i believe its an 0.5 coil. I tried to vape in temp control but reverts back to VW. i tried Ti, Ni, and SS. but still wont work. Please help. Thank you.
In that case ONLY USE STAINLESS.

Nuckel and Titanium are not safe to use in power mode.

Thanks. i tried to go on temp control SS. still reverts to wattage after a single fire. is my rx200 broken?

It may be broken, or it msy need a firm ware update.

Stainless Steel is safe in either TC or power mode.

Titanium and Nickel oxides in the lungs is dangerous to your health.

Kanthal abd Nichrome cant be used in TC MODE.

I would assume it's Kanthal unless it says. If it's Kanthal the mod is designed to revert to power mode on firing.

If thats the case then im fine i think? hopefully. im worried i hope my rx200 is not broken or something. Thanks for your help. I think i'll do more research on this and ask the guys from shops.

Can you give me a good advice? I'm planning to get a new tank which is more juice efficient and that can work on different temp modes. Thanks!

I have quit using Nickel. Kanthal or SS is the stuff for me. You can limit juice by keeping the watts down or using a non-sub-ohm set up. My 3ml tank will last all day. It's a GS 22mm at 14 watts. Hardly luxury vaping but sees me through 9-5.
In the UK 'one shot' concentrates of the best liquids are coming on sale so we can DIY when the regulations hit. It's making DIY a no brainer. Once you DIY then juice consumption is irrelevant unless supplies are hard to obtain.

Uh...do you know what kind of 0.5 coil it is? Like...the kinds for temp control would be NI, TI, SS, and/or even ceramic. That 0.5 coil sounds like kanthal and should be used with wattage.

Right. Most temp Control coiks are very low resistance. .5 us high for temp Control.

Using less Juice is easier. Take your pick.

1 lower watts.
2 single coil Atty.
3 higher resistance. 1.6 ohms and up.

Personally i wouldnt stress tge amount of Juice used. If it doesnt satisfy your cravings yoy are going backward.

If i were you i would focus on a satisfying vape and tinker around tge edges with higher resistance.

Thanks for all the useful tips! I'll keep those in mind. So far my 3ml tank does not last that long though. I think i refill my tank 2-3 times a day. Is that too much?

That's pretty normal for a .5ohm coil and subohm tank. Sobohming uses a lot more liquid, and some subohm tanks can use up huge amounts of liquid.

I have a Kanger Subtank Mini. With it running in TC mode I typically go through 5-6ml of liquid per day. On weekends when I'm sitting around doing nothing I go through even more than that.

But I also have a Herakles V2 RTA tank. Using that I can go through 6ml of liquid every 4-5 hours.

I also have an Aspire Nautilus tank with TC coils. Using that I only go through about 2ml of liquid over the course of 8-9 hours, but the Nautilus is NOT a subohm tank. It's designed to use coils that are 1.5ohm or higher.

So different tanks use liquids at a different rate. I don't have any experience with your specific tank, but in general going through 6ml or more in a day using a subohm tank is quite normal.
