rx200 warm to the touch. normal or panic?

Both my mine are hardware v1.04 too. I only heard of two others v1.00 and v1.03.

"Warm" is normal, "hot" could be worrisome. Where is the heat originating? The board? The batteries? The atty? Yourself? (Don't laugh. A couple times I've grabbed my mod and went "man that feels really hot" only to realize I just took it out of my warm pocket with my icy-cold hand. Now whenever I think my mod or battery might be getting warm I touch it to my cheek or lips to make sure, instead of just trusting whatever I think I can feel with my hands.)

i just gave it to a friend who put in his samsung batteries (25Rs) and he was pumping it to 100w. he told me the darned thing was getting "hot to the touch".
and this is version 3.10.

I usually run mine in stealth mode which keeps the screen off. It solved my warmth issues.

Okay, well the RX200 will be happy until it reaches 70°C and then it won't let you fire and will display too hot error.

I have no idea what it is, but to rule out the batteries, I would do a short trial run until the mod feels a bit more than warm, take the cover off and touch the batteries on the side to see if they feel just as warm or warmer than the mod. There's been a couple of times where I thought my mod was getting too warm, I quickly popped the battery door off and touched them to check and they were at room temperature. I was vaping 100w+ so I figured it was just the heat from the dripper, which it must have been since that mod is still working like the first day.

I've tested now that read the thread and mine was sitting idle for the last 15 minutes and was at 38C after 3 chain vaping Mouth to Lung draws it got up to 44 (I do TC with 0.19 Ni200 Vaporesso Ccell Head on a Aspire Triton Tank with 60Watts ~ 270 C).
It can get pretty warm but mostly because My Ccell tanks do tend to get Hot and that dissipates on the Metallic body of the RX.
