Okay, so I'm new to the forum! And I'm shopping for a new 3x 18650 device. Currently using the rx200s and it's been great but it's going on a year of constant use soooo its time for something new.
I've done quite a bit of research over the past few days trying to find something good and I think I've narrowed it down to 2 vapes that look the best of what's out tight now. (If you have any suggestions though please lmk)

The reuleaux RX gen3
cCZYJ8

Like I said the rx200s has been one of my favorite vapes so this was my first choice. However I've heard if your resistance is anything lower than .25 it gets hot fast and I all day vape @ .15 so I'm worried that would be a major issue. The battery door and how closely the batteries sit together concerns me too.

And then I saw the Joyetech Cuboid 200
mZCbpy

I love how it looks to begin with and I only ever use 22mm rda's so that's not a problem but the door is very similar to the gen3 and I can't afford to be hurting my battery casings with a shotty door..maybe they're great I've just always had vapes with magnet doors so I feel like this style could be a nightmare. And the second thing isn't a big thing but I've had the Smok Xcube with the "on top" screen like that and juice would constantly get all over it.
So I'm having trouble deciding and would love to know what other people think!

I know nothing about the cuboid, but i do own a Gen 3 and I can recommend it. I have only had it month or so but so far it has performed flawlessly. The 510 connector is good and at sensible power levels I get days of runtime. If you liked the RX200 then I would imagine you will like the Gen 3.

What batteries are you using?

The wattage you select will dictate how hot the device gets not the coil resistance. Having said that a lower resistance coil will usually contain more metal and therefore require higher power levels. I run mine at 60-70 watts and it does not get hot at all. If you charge via USB the mod and batteries will get very hot, due to the compact design and the high amp charge rate.

The battery door is sound and easy to use.

The batteries are mostly not separated inside the mod, so it's imperative that you keep the wraps in top condition or you may get a short.

I own a RX Gen3, its a good mod. Fits great in my hand, the fact it holds 3 batteries it lasts me a full day without problems. Might not be the best performer in TC mode, but I vape in Watt mode mostly anyway.

The only thing that bothers me about it, the fire button gets stuck sometime, this was kinda scary first time it happened. I installed the Arctic Fox custom firmware, and put the puff cutoff to 2.5s, so it doesn't bother me anymore. I read a post where a guy took the screen protector off and put some packaging tape on the back of the fire button, preventing the button to be pushed in too far and getting stuck. It isn't a deal breaker for me, just something you should know before going out and buying it. :)
