Hmm... might have to look into the RY2 as well then. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for sweet. I rarely eat sweet foods. It doesn't take much sugar to make me feel queasy. That's not to say I don't like the taste, but when I'm hungry, I reach for savory foods. I like the sweetness of vaping without actually ingesting sugar, but sometimes I just get tired of it. It's nice to get sweet flavors without feeling lousy though, and they can complement or finish a nice savory snack/meal too.

Haven't had RY1 either (where'd you get it?)... but my take is a bit different on the 2, 3 and 4. I think 2 is the not sweet, also... but the ones I've had from freshsmoking and Janty is more 'smokey' than tobacco tasting to me. RY3 is more like dekang's RY4 with the caramel/butterscotch upfront and not much smokey. RY4 is more smokey at first but not as smokey as RY2 and then the caramel/butterscotch/vanilla comes in but not as sweet as the RY3 :) I like both 3 and 4 but prefer 4 from Janty/freshsmoking which has like a balance between 2 and 3. I also think RY2 is also sold as 'Like Smoke' - by some vendors - Widow for one but I saw that somewhere else too. But that's a guess that it's the same as RY2.

AJ,

Did you post your comments on RY1 anywhere??

Nope. I got involved with the 555 that I had tried for the first time and fell in love. Today I got the PS PT and have been going nuts trying all my flavors again(they're so much more pronounced). I'm trying the RY1 dripping on a brandy-new 306 atty on a 510 Puresmoker Passthrough (an amazing combo for maximum flavor, along with the 510 atty w/flat tips+PT). I'm having a hard time putting my finger on it. When I first tried it on a regular 510, I thought it was sweeter with less nutty flavor than RY4, but similar. Now, with this setup, I'm getting a much nuttier flavor with less caramel than RY4... kind of like an RY4/555 mix. I need more time with it I think.

I'm getting the idea. Thanks. Cool toy!

Time for a thread resurrection. I just tried the RY1 (also from RMV) and have to agree with the description of nutty. Also seems to have a bit of caramel and tobacco in there too. It's one of the more interesting-strange flavors I've tried lately. I usually vape only coffee-cappuccino type flavors, except when out for a night drinking. They don't go well with beer. Something tells me this RY1 might work in that situation. We'll see.
