Okay, I've read many reviews on here about how much people love the RY4. I ordered some flavoring from LF's and got it today. I believe it is flavorart flavoring. I mixed a small batch up (5ml). Leaves an aftertaste like pepper or something similar. Is this what it is suppose to taste like or did I mix it too strong? I used 10 drops to 5ml. I thought about cutting it again to see if the pepper taste was still there. I also have left the bottle open to see if it helps. Smells yummy. Tastes okay but still haven't made my mind up yet about it. I couldn't vape it as an all day thing though. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Note: I did take out 2ml and added 5 drops of vanilla to it. Softened that aftertaste bite but the odd taste is still there.

I'm kinda new to the forums, and I just hopped in here because I saw the subject, I apologize if I'm intruding.

I personally love the RY4, it's my all-day vape. I did nothing but tobacco flavors until trying the RY4 (smoking FOOD?? Surely you jest!). Since then I've tried several different flavors (bannana nut bread, strawberry kiwi, butter pecan, etc.), but nothing really stands up to the RY4. I've only tried it from Vapor4Life, but I never noticed a pepper flavor. By "pepper" you can mean either a black-pepper or a hot pepper, but I didn't notice either. From what I've tried, I only found a slight tobacco (like a marlboro light) mixed with caramel (I couldn't really taste the vanilla, but I've been smoking for 20 years, so limited taste is to be expected).

Just my $.02, again, don't mean to intrude.

I haven't tried the FA RY4, but let me tell you of my experience with FA Torrone.

I mixed it and tried it right away. No Torrone taste, none. Slight taste of anise.

Next morning, I tried it again. Ah, now here was some nougat and honey. Better, not bad really.

That following night the flavor had fully developed-- it was hazelnut, honey and nougat, real Italian torrone... it was awesome!

It usually takes some time for the flavor to develop after mixing, so give it some time.

I let it sit. Decided not to cut it. You're right, the flavor came into full bloom. Not so much the peppery taste that I got when I first mixed it. I need to remember to let my juices sit 24 hours before trying them...I'm still new to mixing. I get something in my head, make it, then try it immediately...my bad. All of the ones I've made do taste better after sitting a spell. Thanks for the information...it's what I need to remember.

May be the anise taste that I was thinking left kind of a peppery aftertaste. Much better today since I let it sit in the drawer with the cap off overnight. Stuff is pretty good now. I'm curious to see what it will be like in a few more days of maturing.

Can you describe what torrone tastes like or similar in taste too? Thank you.

By all means, intrude. Yes, when I first made it, it left an aftertaste similar to a black pepper taste. After I let it sit, it seems alot better. Thank you.

Think Big Hunk candy but richer, with hazelnuts in place of peanuts and honey instead of corn syrup. Torrone is a traditional favorite at Christmas in Italy.
