I was super psyched to be one of the lucky ones to snag a 30mil of RY4 this time around. I usually don't order 30mil worth of anything unless I try it first but with all the rants and raves about this juice made me think it was a sure bet.

Anyway, mail comes and I waste no time filling up a carto and I don't think its for me. I like BWB and Havana Gold and was hoping it would be sort of similar but it tastes pretty much like the 2 flue cured tobaccos I've got. Here's how I would describe it.. Very cedar/woodsy on the inhale with a hint of some sort of perfume-like taste but then has almost a carmel woodsy finish on the exhale. Is this the way you all would describe it or did I get a bad batch? I know taste is subjective but I'd still like to think if 2 people tasted and orange e-liquid they would at least both describe it as tasting like orange. What does RY4 taste like to you guys? Going to break it down into a smaller bottle and let it steep and try it next week.

Nuggetz, that's what it taste like to me. I just vaped some steeped vs fresh RY4 for you to check. After steeping the cedar/woodsy and sweet caramel woodsy tobacco become more intense and at the same time mellow by blending. The perfume/fresh nic/PG taste goes away. I had never placed that inhale flavor before and cedar to describe it is spot on.

Give it at least a month if you want to see it through yo it's full glory, but if you absolutely hate in a few weeks then it probably doesn't suit you. It's one of those flavors that grows on you and then you're addicted.

Thanks JJ. To be honest this is the first time I've ever gave a PG juice a real chance. The only other PG I've ever tried was Johnson Creek whose PG vanilla was tainted with the smell one gets when walking into a freshly mopped 7-11. Not sure what ratio Don's RY4 is so it could be the PG I'm tasting and saying WTF to. I appreciate your feedback sir.

I'm getting a tobacco base with a couple subtle sweet/woody undertones. In other words, its godlike and if I could vape it 24/7 I'd be totally the happiest vaper ever. Just filled a tank with it and I'm so pleased :) :) :)

Mine is only 5 days old but I know by 2 weeks (probably when its almost gone) it will taste like the heaven.

nuggetz All BWB juices are 70 pg/30 vg, except for malty and malty toffee, which are 30 pg/70 vg.

Thats where you are wrong Nuggetz, taste is very subjective. I have had people get the identical liquids from identical batches and report 2 totally different flavors LOL. There is a few saying they tasted Banana in the Malty and thats just plain nuts. Everyone is different and from years of smoking our taste buds are crap to say the least and it takes alot of time to get them back. Think of when you are sick and you cant taste Jack. Same principal applies. When someone dont even know what something tastes like to start are perceptions are way different to begin with. Just my :2c:

Dont take this the wrong way LOL

I agree 100% regarding the subjectivity of taste when sampling complex flavors or when 2 people are describing a fine wine for example. I would expect that both of these wine tasters to describe the subtle nuances of the wine in different ways but would also expect that they would both have described the type of beverage they were enjoying as wine and not beer.
The point I'm trying trying to make is that common flavors are for the most part globally recognizable and should be describable as such. An apple will never taste like an orange. Subjectivity is not always applicable.
