Thank you Mr Mann, this is an awesome thread, I think I have found a group that is "a kin" , sympatico, heck with the same tastes I have. I love the description and the similar reactions to the artificially flavored cig like taste juices out there. Face it most of us smoked pretty much the same "crappy" cigs (marl, cams, etc) not many actually smoked high quality cigarettes that werent pumped full of 4,000 ingredients of junk. There was nothing like a real 100% tobacco cig with a good filter. Im sure we all know there is nothing out there that is going to replicate crap with 4000 other ingredients. I think that the new to vaping still think we need that just as I did. WHat we need to do is get a juice that is high enough in nic , one that tastes clean and organic, natural to satisfy them. Once you learn to appreciate the actual taste of real tobacco leaves it is heaven.
You're welcome, though if you are thanking me for the thread, this is not mine--though I do have a few that are similar. FYI, the issues with cigarettes is about the combustion, that is where the chemicals come into play; there is no safe burning of tobacco without those thousands of chemicals. I used to smoke Nat Sherman Natural and American Spirits and both of those claim to not have additives, but there is more than enough chemicals in the burning of a cig to make additives seem moot. (The paper, at least in the AS, was eventually formulated to be "fire-safe", so I guess the claim was specifically in regard to the tobacco.) YOU ARE 100% CORRECT in the statement about learning to love the flavor of tobacco. I can honestly say now that the thought of a cigarette has ZERO to do with tobacco and, for me, all to do with misguided nostalgia!
Cheers, anavidfan.
