Hi guys I recently ordered a bottle of 18mg RY4 from Hangsen. It was extremely harsh and spicy for me. Is it normal or did I just got a bad bottle? Anything I can do to improve it other than steeping?

I just mixed up a batch of RY4 from TFA very interesting flavor to say the least. But I do believe i like it. Have been vaping my own DIY commercial tobacco flavor from Seedsman's so the two are quite different.

I've been reading a lot of my favorite Hangsen Ry4 being bad tasting. I buy just the concentrate. It is smooth, and tastes like mild tobacco with caramel and vanilla. Was it ordered from fast tech ?

Hangsen retail RY4 is currently in the group graded B on The Big RY4 Report Card. That grade was given based on a small sample bottle of Hangsen RY4 I got from Liberty-Flights two years ago, along with Hangsen RY1, RY2, and RY3. That bottle of RY4 didn't knock me out. However, I recently purchased a 50ml bottle of Hangsen RY4 from VaporBreak, and it's terrific. Either my palate has changed or Hangsen has altered their RY4 recipe. Probably both.

In the next update of The Big RY4 Report Card, Hangsen retail RY4 will be moved into the A- group.

The only reason it doesn't get an A grade from me is that---like Jimi D.---I too prefer the Hangsen Essence DIY concentrate. Mixed at 20/80 pg/vg, it makes one of the smoothest, most delicious Classic RY4s I've ever tasted, and I've vaped a few RY4s---about 130 so far.

I don't know what the OP got, but "harsh" and "spicy" are not qualities of the Hangsen RY4 I'm vaping. Not even close.

This was my first time trying out the ry4 flavor and I wasn't sure what I was expecting.. I ordered it because of the many good reviews that I've seen. I got my ry4 from health cabin. I could only describe it as being sweet caramelly, spicy and harsh. A little peppery too, almost somewhat like jalapeños. It tasted a lot bearable after adding some vg into it but I wished it wasn't so harsh.

On a side note, the bottle which came in the mail was slightly dented. Slightly dissapointed but I do believe that it is authentic.

I don't doubt the accuracy of your reporting. You experienced what you experienced.

All I'm suggesting is that something is amiss somewhere. Hangsen RY4 should not taste the way you describe.

By all means, don't vape any more of the bottle you have. Put it away for a long steep, or just pour it down the drain as a mistake. Heck, I've thrown out a lot of juice over three years. Some folks say, "Oh don't do that! PIF it, or sell it on the Classies." But that's not my way. If a juice is truly awful to me, I never regret pouring it down the drain.
