i know it came up some place but can't remember where, lol ......

chopper got too many threads! ;)

gotta run, laterzzzzz!

Thanks Tib! I know it seems silly, but I just don't want to get the wrong wire. Since this is very new to me I thought I should defer to the experts.

hildicat - the main difference between A and A-1 Kanthal is the resistance. The Kanthal everyone is using for atomizers is Kanthal 32 ga A-1.
Of course it is...Thanks for the feedback, seriously. So what is the resistance factor, and what do I need to be aware of using the reg 32?

that info came from vaporwall, com and a little further down

I have popped Kanthal D but I have never yet managed to pop 0.2mm Kanthal A1 so it's reliable for when you are out, no need to carry spare wire. I do change my coils about every week anyway though, I don't bother cleaning them, Kanthal is cheap and recoiling the Line is easy, it only takes two minutes...

which leads me to assume toughest on top

Ok in light of these new stats I've purchased another 75'. This time I got the A1. So now that I'm going to have 6000000' of Kanthal on hand, the next time its all sold out just PM me and I will be more than happy to share. Whats more, we will have a first hand case study as to the differences. Nothing like re-inventing the wheel. I'm going to chock this up to looking out for my fellow ECFers. Yea, thats it. Plus for a total of $12 I'll have Kanthal for the rest of my life.

Just wanted to bring this info up top again.

Availability and Size of DefCon Rebuildable Attys

Chopper said:

Right now, there is one size DefCon. It is called the Mini. The length is roughly 2 1/4 long the OD is 14mm it holds around 2ml of juice.

If anyone wants the older bigger version, they must request that in a PM to Chopper.

The sub mini is not available and may or may NOT be in the future. Chopper mentioned that it was his own personal one and not for sale.

The Atom (Bomb) is still in the works but may not be ready for several weeks while Chopper is getting thru the building of the Mini DCs.

There is a new thread for "all things Chopper" here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...mods-support-thread-all-things-chopper71.html

There are two videos to watch on the DefCon:

DEFCON GENESIS TYPE REBUILDABLE ATOMIZER REVIEW - YouTube

Wick for Scubagen - YouTube

Hope that helps!

(Good to see ya, AG!)
