I tried going real heavy to give a true Diamond finish,
But it looked more like a tool handle. So I eased up and
Got this great feeling swirling finish.

I would LOVE one of these!!!
I've heard great things about the VV Saber Touch....

I very much like the new finish -
different from what you normally see.
I like silver, and this type of finish doesn't look like fingerprints would be an issue unlike the smooth silver.
It also looks like the pattern would be quite forgiving of scratches and dings.

PLUS, the texture would make it easy to grip and hopefully prevent accidental slips and falls.

Quite frankly, this looks like a piece of expensive (and gloriously functional) jewelry.

Love the new look Sir . Just told my hubby last night before seeing this that I wan the Kick edition either for Christmas or before. Hoping for before . Absolutely love the mini and now want an 18650 model.

I just finished a couple more of the Knurling on the bodies... but I came out with a nice, soft, perfect diamond pattern instead of a swirl.
If the Sun comes out tomorrow, I'll have to get a picture of it to see how you all like that version.

Well guys...
After machining about 30 bodies... I've come to the conclusion that each one will be slightly different. Which can be a good thing! Each of these Sabers will be a One Of A Kind!
See, using a computer controlled lathe, I can reproduce each one exactly the same, but I can't take the knurling all the way to the treading for the caps. The machine can't get that close to the ends.
But using my manual machine lathe, I can't go all the way to the ends, but the tension has to be set by hand. Which means, each one will be slightly different.
So, When I put it back onto my site, I will make it clear that the Knurling is unique to each Saber. Close, but never exactly the same!

I'm going to try to powder one of these with maybe a Candy Apple Transparent color. If it turns out well, I'll try and post a pic.
