FYI: Matt (MWA) has been successful with moding a Bulli A2 as a bottom feeder and Dan (Scubabatdan) posted a prototype of a rebuildable atty for bottom fed mods.

There will be a rebuildable able bottom fed atty on the market. When that will happen is any ones guess but it will happen. :)

Thanks to everyone for your support.

Mlinky - Thanks again, I ordered a batch of the 1.7 ohm "The Resurrectors" to try them out.

Lostknitter - Used the coupon code for my order, thanks :).

Hubseven - Yep, these guys are always announcing some form of new atomizers but in the end the results are mostly the same. Sort of like beating a dead horse with a wooden stick.

Mudflap - Nice! Thanks for the information.

Canoeist - What juice do you use? I only vape juices from alien Visions, best stuff imo.

Delilah718 - Yep, Redeyedancer is known for his service/support and I'm sure that he will fix the spring if I do get around to sending it back. I'll send him a message asap.

Nerak - Yea I didn't want to try Cartos either (don't really know why) but now I will try them out.

If you PM Rob I am sure he can send you a new spring it can be changed out at home rely easy. Or he may wont you to send it in just to check the mod out after a short.

Just one additional note to add to what everyone has said. When you go to Rob's site to get spring(s), he also sells the resurrectors individually, so you can just snag a few to try. That's what I did, and 2 days after receiving them, I was on Crystal Clear Vaping site ordering 30. And I've never looked back. It's hands down the easiest, most fiddle free vaping I've had since I started.

Standard resistance joye 510 attys on a reo full of ave juice lasts me AT LEAST a month.

Someone told me a few months back that.... "sometimes its good to go back to basics".

Screw spending cash on all these new attys. I know what works for me & I'm sticking to it. I know it keeps me from smoking.

I think the REO forum is the LAST place you would ever get flamed. Best of luck to ya & we'll see ya back here after all your tanks leak or crack & you are sick of buying cartos, or just can't live without the full on "dripped" taste the reo provides.

Best of luck: )

Sounds like you had some bad experiences with cartos and tanks.

Update - Just had a talk with Rob and all I will say is that my Reo will be in good hands for a bit.

Nope, I haven't tried a carto and for the most part I don't even know where to begin. I heard they last for a few days and you just toss em, or they can last for a week or two using a tank, and they are cost effective? Can you give me some small details on cartos and your experience with them?

Dokebilee, this was me a year ago. Was tired of attys, didn't like the taste of cartos, tried the Ego-T (bad, bad flavor)... And I've settled on the Fluxomizer from GotVapes. Absolutely love the thing. Amazing vapor production, wonderful, dripping-worthy flavor, and easy to fill. These things also last a long time. I've been vaping on the same one for over two weeks and it's holding up great. I just clean it out with vodka every once in awhile or if I want to change flavors and it vapes like new.

Seriously. Give 'em a try. :)

All the best.

Fluxomizer? Will it invert my organs or make my tongue bio-luminescent?

I feel for you man. Been there and done that.

I'm with what everybody has said. I have cartos on my 4 REOs. 3 dual coils and 1 306 Boge carto.

I have to admit though that it has been a journey when searching for the right carto-juice-battery combo but albeit a fun one. :thumb:

I have a Provari and Buzz Pro at home for dripping on atties WHEN I feel like it. And that's a big when.

Most of the time, I always have 2 REOs with me. I feel ill at ease when I don't have them with me. :)

Good luck my man!

REOs and CARTOMIZERS ...... WIN !!

I kinda feel like I ushered in the era **read shameless pat on back**

When I got my first REO (a Grand) 49 weeks ago :) no one was using cartos on them.
I saw a few people ask back then and some regulars gave it a shot to pass on the info if they worked or not.

I always loved Boge Cartos pre-REO so it didn't take long before I was giving it a go.
I had a different bottom feeder that had a spoke for juice and that killed the airflow on a carto dead in its tracks.

I still like the clean flavor of a fresh atty over the carto but as soon as I got my second grand I kept a carto on at least one almost full time.

Fast forward to now and with the exception of the HH-357 I tried for a day and a 3.5Ω 510 atty at 6v for a few days its been all cartos for me.

I still love the fresh taste of a new or clean atty over a carto, but that taste only last 3-5 hours usually for me.
That just sucks.

I've said before I'll take cartomizors that taste 90% as good 100% of the time over ......
atomizers that taste 100% good 10% of the time.

I'm not saying they are for everyone, but like all vape stuff I feel everyone should try as many different products as they can afford.

But its nice to know that if I never try anything else new I have a winning combo that can "do it" for me.

REO / 6 volts / Boge 3Ω Cartomizer / and one of my 3 best juices.
( my fourth favorite juice does not work at 6v)

And for the record cartos work out to be much more expensive for me but I still think they are worth the extra price for convenience and consistency.

I get the Boge for 6 bucks a box with free shipping so $1.20 each. I get 3-5 days usually if I use it full time.
I've always kept attys for over a month with proper care so they work out much cheaper in the long run.

A carto on a feeder mod is nothing like a carto you have to top off. They work so much better when they are always wet.

If you have a problem with the "cheap carto" stigma think of them as a vertical coil atomizer with a big wick :D
Now go out and give one a shot today.

One thing I found with the clear dual coil cartos from avid vapors X2 Clear Dual Coil XL 510 Cartomizers - Avid Vaper is they make an excellent carto for the syringe tank.

I use a pointed solder iron to melt a tiny hole almost all the way through the plastic then use a needle to poke the rest of the way through to the filler. You can see how much is left in both the tank and in the carto.

My wife doesn't like the bottom feeding aspect of the Reo (go figure) so I made her a couple of these and she likes them a lot.
