I am sorry to hear that. Customs can be a huge pain in the @$$ sometimes. I wish there was a way around dealing with them.

My new ultramax is just down the road.

In the customs warehouse. And you wouldn't believe the number of stupid ****ing hoops it looks like I'm gonna have to jump through to get it.

If I manage it, I'll let you all know how it goes...

When one spends a lot of time international, one knows that packages WILL occasionally attract the attention of customs. So no harm, no foul.

The pain in the .... is, here it's a pretty bureaucratic nightmare to go about clearing a package. (I know several people who have had to take a whole day or more off work to deal with it.)

BUT...I may have been successful. :) I've just got off the phone with the customs office, and, if what I was told works out, I can still have my alpha in hand by the end of the week.

Hopefully.

PS- Still, Asia is better than Latin America where all this is concerned. I'll pay through the nose for this, but will get my mod. In Ecuador, where I used to live, even odds that somebody would have stolen it.

YES! Just got it. Total score on this isn't bad- just under 12 days from order to vaping! (For ordering from Korea, it could be a lot worse.)

Cost me 20% on the whole order in duties, which isn't as good as I'd hoped or as bad as I feared.

And...got a great mod in hand. Glad I went ultramax, as it's really quite small. I'd probably lose an ultra.

Other thoughts- there clearly is a learning curve on the RES, but I'm getting great vapor on it from the get go.

I'd write more, but have a hellish nicotine buzz and am going to go lie down.

:)
