the solo is different. The aegis 100w took 26650 or 18650.

I still love my 5 Aegis 100W and they are all still doing fine. And I love how they are compatible with 18650, 20700, 21700, and 26650 cells.

What types of batteries are the Aegis Max going to be compatible with?

the solo is different. The aegis 100w took 26650 or 18650.

And with the 20700 and 21700 using the 2x700 battery cap. Came with the kit and also sold separately.

Not really. I grabbed my last 2 when they started to disappear off of shelves fearing they won't be back. Maybe this new Max will be better.

If you get one or more, check the version number by when off, press both plus and minus buttons for a few seconds. The firmware version will show. If nothing shows, that means it has v1.00. That one has a bug if you held the fire button down indefinitely, it will fire for 10 seconds, pause, fire, etc. I just want to let you know in case you throw it in a pocket or backpack or something. You could turn it off and it won't fire. You could also update the firmware too. v1.24 is the latest firmware version last time I checked.

I ordered the red/black one. The only other option was camo. I don’t much care for red but figured I could paint the red another color and like the black leather.

You must have grabbed the last red one. As now only the green camo remains.

Not a bad deal for a solo kit from a US retailer considering you can the Ijoy EXO-S RBA on Amazon for the cerberus tank and you got yourself a mod with a LMTL/RDL rebuildable tank.

True, that's why I bought a handful of them when I had a chance when 3avape.com had them for 3 bucks apiece. Even at their peak, they were still kind of hard to find.
