Samples, or samplers, are not free via internet vendors so to speak. There are a few that will send an extra flavor or two when you order others. They want you to try flavors for future sales, but you have to buy, too. There are a few that sell samplers for slightly less than regular. I went both routes and kept detailed notes so that I knew whether to buy again. It isn't the cheapest process.

Another thing that I did was to go to vape shops/lounges that let you try for free. They had their own brand and also "national" brands that can be found on the internet. I went after the national brands. It is expensive to have a sanitary mixing area for a local customer base. I saw some pretty unsanitary situations. But, it was nice to visit, talk, and try flavors. Almost always, they did not want to let me use my own gear. Not sure if it was insurance, expense, or whatever, but if I taste it in their gear, then it would be different when I got home to my gear. But, it was an option.

Nowadays, I DIY. It is rather simple once it is done a time or three. I do have to say that nicotine is going to be heavily regulated/taxed as regulations come into place. Some States are already taxing and limiting purchases. Be best to move quickly on buying nicotine if you decide to DIY. DIY is a LOT cheaper after you get initial supplies. This is for the committed vaper.

Oh, this link goes to the e-juice sub-forum. There, just search for "sample" and you should get a bunch of threads/posts to get you going.
