Are you sure it wasn't a Samsung 26C? I found this on Google searching for
"Samsung 25C 18650"
Samsung ICR18650-26C Cell Specifications
I'm almost positive it said 25c. Apparently these are batteries that I properly disposed of already because I can't find them now. They were green wrappers though. Sorry for the confusion.
Good find! He mentioned green wrappers though.![]()
It was on the wrap. But now that I've turned the house inside out looking for them, I guess I just dont have them anymore. But thanks for trying to help. Much appreciated anyway. Was the “25C” on a white or silver sticker? Or was it printed on the green wrap itself?
If it was on a sticker then it was probably a “C” rating (an exaggerated one) added by the importer/reseller/distributor.
If it was on the wrap itself with the rest of Samsung’s printing it might have been part of the date/batch code and not the model number. Do you remember if it said “INR18650-25C” or was the “25C” on its own or part of a different number?
I thought about that too.Could also have been some fake "Samsung" battery from China.
