Hi there. Vaper for 2 years. Quite happy. Getting the itch to tinker again. So I think I'm going to jump into the RBA/ RDA pool.

I've read quite a bit. I think I have a good undersranding of the basics, batteries, wiring, etc.

I am mostly a dripper. I have recently started using tanks. While convenient, I still prefer dripping.

That all being said, my current tools are the Buzz Pro and a Roughstack. I don't intend on going with low ohm. I plan on makig 2-ish ohm coils as that's where I'm content.

My question is are my two mods ok to use? I get the impresion the roughstack shouldn't pose a problem. The BP might. Just want to check.

And lastly, for those using mechanicals, are you using IMR or just "regular" batts?

Thanks for helping out.

The OC
at 2 Ohms?

You'll be fine... With those mods you can go lower for sure... But I'd avoid the SLR coils. Just stick to equivalence to what's sold commercially(maybe a floor of about 1.3-1.5).

Make sure you have a multimeter to measure your resistance before using your coils.

I use AW IMRs, great battery.

TIP: don't be afraid to play around with different wire gauges... in many cases this may cause you to have lower resistance that you "are content" with... but a great vape is about more than resistance and voltage, or even wattage... it's about wire temperature... and the gauge of the wire effects temperature as much if not more than anything else.

when you are starting it's good to have a device with short circuit protection, I dunno if the Buzz Pro does (it for sure does give you an indicator for the specific error)

but if I'm wrong do let me know, I've wanted to buy one from some time

the roughstack seems like a strange duck to me, how do you vape with anything wider than a standard carto / atty? (can't see an AGA or IGO-L there)
